The Gold Line Edition is the ultimate in off-road vintage car luxury, and it was built for long trips. There are two more Gold Line Editions of the Scrambler 1200: the versatile XC, with its plush suspension and unmatched all-road, all-day performance and comfort, and the stunning Triumph 2022 Scrambler 1200 XE Gold Line Edition Motorcycle, the world’s first genuine dual-purpose modern classic adventurer, with a category-leading level of performance and specification.
Both bikes are powered by a 1200cc High Power Bonneville twin motor and are distinguished by state-of-the-art technology emphasizing the user and impeccable craftsmanship.
Fashionable Carnival Red and Storm Grey paint, an Aluminum Silver tank band, and a subtle “gold line” emblem distinguish the Scrambler 1200 XC Gold Line Edition. The thigh rests, which are made of shiny metal, have patterns that are framed in gold enamel. The headlamp bowl and the side plate are finished in a classic Jet Black.
The Scrambler 1200 XE Gold Line Edition features a striking Baja Orange and Silver Ice tank, a Pure White border, and a hand-painted gold line. Similar to the XC model, both the side panel and the headlamp bowl are finished in Jet Black, and the patterns on the glossy foil knee cushions are edged in gold.

Unique Features
Featuring the hand-painted gold lining expertise of Triumph’s expert paint shop and responding to customer demand for brighter and more custom-inspired color schemes, the new Bonneville Gold Line Editions give eight motorcycles in Triumph’s renowned Modern Classic range a distinctive look and high-end hand-painted detail.
All Gold Line Types are only available for one year. Still, they feature the latest refinements of the newest iteration of Bonneville’s, such as increased storage space, increased top speed, and refined aesthetics.
Each of the eight new models features a gorgeous, hand-painted “gold line” color scheme, and they are based on the latest iteration of models. It is due to the overwhelming demand for the 2021 Street Twin Gold Line Edition, released earlier in the year and sold out in record time.
New to the Triumph lineup, the Gold Line Editions are premium, exclusive, and limited, showcasing the brand’s usual high standards of craftsmanship and design.
The Art of Gold Lining
It takes years of experience, steady hands, and a lot of care, but the paint workshop at Triumph has perfected the art of hand-painting a gold lining.
Many new Gold Line Edition patterns use a two-color palette as their foundation, and the transition between the two colors has been softened. The gold line is painstakingly hand-applied by the artist using a specialty soft-bristled sword-liner brush, usually in a single, fluid stroke. When the pinstripe is in place, a coat of clear lacquer is used to preserve it.
For the gold lining, a special paint is created by mixing a boosted pigment with a cellulose lacquer to achieve the ideal consistency; this is because regular vehicle paint is too thin for brushwork.
The artist signs each Gold Line Edition with their name as a final touch, a personal gesture that sets apart each individually painted Triumph.
