Next-generation improvements on the Bonneville T100 Gold Line Edition include an extra 10PS of peak power for 64HP at 7,400rpm and a robust 59 LB-FT of peak torque at 3,750rpm. The gasoline tank, front and rear mudguards, and side panels of the Bonneville T100 Gold Line Edition are magnificent Silver Ice, and the infill of the tank is a typical Competitive Green with a hand-painted gold lining and a subtle “gold line” symbol. New white and gold Bonneville T100 badges and hand-painted gold lining complement the Competitive Green in the stripe patterns down the side panels. The previously unavailable fly screen complements the Silver Ice color scheme nicely.

Accessibility and exclusivity are both present. The T100 is well-known for its user-friendliness and cutting-edge functionality, and its hand-painted details only add to its already stunning appearance.

Each of the eight brand-new Bonneville Gold Line Editions is based on the latest generation of the brand’s motorcycles and has a stunning, hand-painted “gold line” color scheme. The 2021 Street Twin Gold Line Edition was released earlier in the year, and it was so popular that it ran out quickly.

Premium, highly sought-after, and limited in production, the new Gold Line Editions is an excellent representation of the high standards that Triumph sets for itself in terms of quality and attention to detail.

The Art of Gold Lining

With meticulous attention to detail, years of practice, and the steadiest hands, Triumph’s paint department has perfected the art of hand-painted gold lining.

With some of the new Gold Line Edition designs, the transition between the two colors is less abrupt. Using a particular soft-bristled sword-liner brush, the artist applies the gold line delicately by hand, usually in a single, continuous stroke. A final clear coat of lacquer is sprayed to preserve the pinstripe from the elements after it has been painted.

To achieve the desired thickness for brushwork, the gold lining paint is specially formulated by mixing a solid color with a cellulose lacquer.

The artist finishes each hand-painted Triumph in the Gold Line Edition with a signature and their initials to set it apart from the others.
