Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Adventure Bike – Features and Price
Powerful Engine Features
The new higher capacity and a high-performance 900cc engine now fully Euro-5 compliant features a distinctive 1, 3, 2 firing order for more excellent character and feels. It improves intake noise under load i.e., more feedback from the engine to the rider an incredibly distinctive engine sound. The result of it is a much closer association to the throttle character, sound and feel of a twin lower down while maintaining all the torque, feel and delivery in the mid-range and top-end of a triple.
Furthermore, the new engine delivers massive 10% more peak torque than a previous 2019 Triumph Tiger 800 model, now 87Nm at 7,250rpm, with improved torque low down and across the rev range. The power is also up across the entire rev range, with 9% greater in the mid-range and 95PS peak power at 8,750rpm.
It gives more responsive acceleration in combined form, with 0-60mph, 0-110mph and 6th gear roll-on times significantly beating the previous models and the closest competition. Additionally, it offers the new Tiger 900 an aggressive and engaging triple soundtrack.
The Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Adventure Motorcycle features a twin radiator set up that is mass optimized with a reduced coolant volume. It gives cooling performance and reduces the ambient heat felt by the rider. In addition, the new radiator style enhances the new modes’ more striking adventure motorcycle stance and poise. Its shape and position allow a different, forward engine position, resulting in a more excellent optimized center of gravity. It helps in extraordinary weight distribution for better handling and low-speed balance. The other improvements to the sump and cooling system guarantee it has no impact on ground clearance. An all-new airbox with a quickly easily accessible new air filter, plus a slip and assist clutch for added rider comfort.
Chassis Features
The new Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Adventure Bike is up to 5kg lighter than the previous generation model, and it delivers the most commanding and agile Tiger ride ever. The new steel trellis frame is not only more lightweight. Still, it has modular construction, with bold-on aluminum rear sub-frame and bolt-on pillion hanger, delivering the most adventure-centric set-up ever for off-road-focused riding.
It has a high suspension specification across the new 900 range with premium Marzocchi or Showa components tailored to deliver the ultimate capability for the benchmark-setting new middleweight adventure bikes.
For greater rider convenience and comfort, the motorcycle features segment-leading electronically adjustable rear suspension, helping the rider adjust the rear preload and damping settings via the dedicated menu in the TFT instruments. Riders can select from nine levels of damping control, ranging from Comfort to Sport and four preload set-ups.
An all-new Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Adventure Bike features category-leading Brembo Stylema brakes for excellent stopping power. It has lightweight, compact, carefully sculpted and high-performing calipers with low volume around the pistons and brake pads, decreasing the internal space occupied by brake fluid, thus giving a more excellent braking response. Furthermore, an increased airflow around the brake pads helps the calipers to cool quicker.
The combination of the new lightweight modular frame, new light engine, high-spec suspension and premium Brembo brakes gives exceptional handling under all conditions. Additionally, the long-distance travel has been improved on Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally, with a sizeable 20-liter fuel tank and new adjustable screen giving superior wind protection with simple single-handed adjustment.
Aggressive Tiger Style
The new aggressive styling, re-designed smaller-scale bodywork, revised finishing, and cleaner lines offer a unique adventure. It is supported by the narrow stand over width, the visually lighter front end and the dominant fuel tank design and size. The overall bodywork features a focused and aggressive adventure style, and it includes a fuel tank and panel, high mudguard, seat panel, radiator cowl and radiator duct exit. The finish and detailing are enhanced to their highest level, ensuring that the new Triumph 2020 Tiger 900 Rally Adventure Bike meets quality benchmarks.
