Thrilling Performance

The newest generation Bonneville High Power 1200cc engine powers new Scramblers, delivering category-leading torque and a dedicated scrambler tune.’ The 270° firing interval assures smooth, linear power delivery from the sleek six-speed gearbox.

The 1200 engine, which was developed mainly for the Scrambler, produces 90 PS @ 7,400 rpm, 12.5 percent more power than the 2020 Bonneville T120, and an impressive 38 percent more power than the 2019 Street Scrambler.

Furthermore, the Scrambler 1200 engine unit has been calibrated to offer ‘high torque’ off-road and on, low down and throughout the mid-range, with a peak torque of 110Nm at a low 3,950 rpm. It is also 37.5 percent more than the Street Scrambler.

A finely built dual high-level exhaust system with stainless steel headers and brushed stainless steel silencers delivers the Scrambler soundtrack for a deep, punchy scrambler sound.

The Scrambler 1200 engine, like all new generation Bonnevilles, combines superior contemporary classic capabilities with ride-by-wire, as well as a sensitively fitted liquid cooling system for better performance and cleaner, more fuel-efficient riding.

Both Scrambler 1200 versions have a 10,000 mile/16,000 km first major service interval.
