BMW officially announced the arrival of a new roadster with driving boxer in a near future.
In addition to the photographs flights, some sketches appeared on internet gives an idea of the pace for this 2013 BMW R1200R imagined by the designer Nicolas Petit and the German accessories supplier Wunderlich seem to aim very right.
For BMW, it is nothing any more but one question of month: a villainous roadster with driving boxer is in the paperboards, undoubtedly for the end of the first half of 2013.
This new motorcycle would make it possible at BMW to enrich its offer as regards roadsters retro new, with a point of typical dynamism of the current strategy of the brand. The idea is clearly to titillate Ducati Monster 1100 Evo and to address themselves to those which find the R too statutory or too aseptic zed BMW R1200R.

Wunderlich seemed quite interested with the question. After the Cruiser Speed, realized in collaboration with Nicolas Petit, the specialist in the accessory for BMW ordered with the French designer an illustration of what could be the future of the German roadster, while basing it on the known elements: pace retro new, reversed fork, flat twin cooled by air…
The result seems technically realistic from a technical point of view and, even if it is about a niche, this motorcycle could make its small effect in the BMW network. And this seemed to be good news of spring being quite possible…
