Control unit

Drivetrain
The Brushless electric motor of the KTM Freeride E-XC 2021 Electric Dirt Bike is controlled by a clever, state-of-the-art control unit developed for this application to ensure a responsive but highly tractable power delivery for optimal riding enjoyment. The more challenging the terrain, the more exciting it is to ride a motorbike since the total torque is available from a stop, eliminating the need for a clutch or gear change lever. Chassis

There are two pistons in the front and one in the back, and the brake discs are lightweight thanks to a newly created FORMULA system. Frame
Using high-quality chrome-molybdenum steel and bolted-on forged aluminum components, the KTM Freeride E-chassis XC’s is exceptionally light. When it comes to strength, the engine and aluminum skid plate serve as the primary parts of the bottom frame. High-jump safety is ensured by its design’s excellent rigidity and stability.
Subframe
The subframe is made of high-strength polymer and bolted on. It contributes significantly to the vehicle’s total weight reduction by being very stiff. Mud and debris from the back tire cannot get to the grip handle, which is recessed and protected.
Front suspension
The WP XPLOR 43 fork is used on the KTM Freeride E-XC, a 250 mm travel fork. While the WP XPLOR 43 is sensitive and resistant to bottoming out, it has excellent response and dampening qualities. On the left side of the fork leg is a compression damping dial, and on the right side of the fork leg is a rebound damping dial, both of which may be modified using dials on top of the fork.
Rear suspension

With the PDS rear suspension, the shock absorber is attached directly to the top of the swingarm, removing the weight and complexity of a linkage. This design is typical in KTM Enduro racing bikes. Further advancement is made by the suspension design and progressive spring, which includes an additional dampening piston with a closed cup at the end of the stroke for extra protection against bottoming out. High and low-speed compression damping may also be adjusted independently on the shock absorber. The KTM Power Parts program offers a custom kit that lowers the seat height by twenty-five millimeters.
Wheels
Wheels made of anodized aluminum, Giant rims, CNC machined hubs, and aluminum spoke nipples from the KTM Freeride E-XC cannot be beaten in weight and stability.

Ergonomics & Comfort
Unrestricted freedom of movement and exceptional comfort are provided by the long, thin seat of the KTM FREERIDE E-XC. Handlebar
The KTM FREERIDE E-XC sports the same handlebar bend and breadth as the EXC handlebar, enhancing the rider’s ergonomics and overall control. ODI grips are used on the handlebars, including a lock-on grip on the left that does not need glue or wire to hold the handlebars.
Bodywork & Graphics
Features like an as integrated warning and indicator lights and an easy-to-read digital speedometer are included in the KTM FREERIDE E-dashboard. XC’s In the braided front brake hose tube, an incorporated channel protects the speedometer cable. It also has a place for the ignition lock near its speedometer, making it simple to get in and out of it.
Software & Electronics
Connecting the external charger to the KTM Powerpack is as simple as flipping up the seat and plugging it into any standard 230V socket rated for 10A or 13A. It takes around 110 minutes to recharge fully or 75 minutes to charge the device to 80% capacity.
