Parallel Twin Engine
Both new and experienced riders will love the engine rider’s friendly demeanor, smooth response, and much less torque.
The downdraft intake track takes intake air into the cylinder in a short, straightway, increasing cylinder filling efficiency and contributing to power, especially at high RPM. The down draft also frees up space behind the intake set, allowing it to be built with less ground access.
Larger airboxes help with intake performance, which in turn increases power. During acceleration, the airbox design lets the rider hear the engine’s intake notes more clearly. The unequal height of the intake funnels helps to smooth the throttle response by filtering the torque dips.
At all engine speeds, 7mm intake and 23.5mm exhaust valves increase efficiency. Fake camshafts, usually only available on large displacement machines, help save weight.
The bike has oil jets that cool the underside of the piston, giving the piston a lighter design. The open deck design of the aluminum die-cast cylinder allows good heat dissipation and reduces engine weight—the sleeveless cylinder in which the mounted bore is used. To help reduce the total engine height, the cylinder is moved 20 degrees.
Transmission/Clutch
The Assist and Sleeper Clutch (KP) is small, and its working plates help reduce the lever draw, making the lever feel very light. It’s easy to control with a wide range of engagements.
The clutch is pressed together during acceleration (Assist function) using the rotating forces of the clutch hub and pressure plate, allowing the use of low and light clutch springs for a soft feeling on the lever. The sleeper function allows some clutches to slip during high back-torque conditions, such as when the low gear is selected while shifting down, rear wheel hops and reduced stops due to engine lock-up. It helps Close the gear ratio and helps in smooth shifting.
Lightweight Trellis Frame
The design of the trailer frame is comparable to that of the Ninja H2TM. The structure was designed using Kawasaki’s state-of-the-art dynamic stiffness analysis to achieve maximum stiffness with minimal weight, which significantly increases the overall low curb mass of the bike happens.
The supersport-style chassis combines a short wheelbase and extended swing arm with a sharp steering angle, creating light, quick handling.
Suspension
The square tube swing arm provides stiffness without excessive gusting, resulting in weight savings. Ride quality is better than the suspension linkage ratios and shock settings behind the Uni-Trak® (KP). The 41mm fork provides rigidity and smooth suspension movement, resulting in more front-wheel engagement.
Wheels/Tires
The stylish Star Pattern 5-spoke wheel, comparable to the Ninja® 650, produces weight loss while improving handling by increasing cornering performance. Radial tires are lighter, have more traction, and contribute to both agile handling and comfort during the ride.
Styling
The Ninja 400’s extensive bodywork makes it look bigger than an entry-level bike, which is compatible with the Ninja ZXTM-6R / 10R. Kawasaki’s supersport flagship Ninja H2TM and Ninja ZX-10R have been born by Sharp Cowl on the front with chin spoilers. Thin LED headlights make the car look more aggressive, make it more noticeable to other drivers, and provide more light than standard bulbs.
The Ninja 400’s tail cowl has a triple-pack design similar to the Ninja H2, which adds to the Ninja 400’s bloodline. The beautiful shape of the Ninja 400 is complemented by an LED taillight that resembles the Ninja ZX-10R.
