Harley-Davidson 2021 Road King Touring Bike – Features and Price

Milwaukee-Eight® 107 Engine

A robust and smooth-running engine with a genuine, soul-satisfying rumbling and sharp throttle response.

Harley-Davidson 2021 Road King Touring Bike

Reflex™ Linked Brembo® Brakes with Standard ABS

They were designed to help the rider retain control while braking in a straight line by preventing the wheels from locking during braking. In an emergency, ABS works separately on the front and rear brakes to keep the wheels spinning and avoid uncontrollable wheel lock.

Hiawatha Headlamp and Nacelle

Born in the 1960s, when chrome reigned supreme on city streets. It’s big and bold, with cutting-edge materials and technology for a long-range high beam and a broad low beam.

Responsive Suspension

High-performance front and rear suspension, as well as readily hand-adjustable rear shocks, provide you with complete control over the ride.

Slicer II Cast Aluminum

A front 18-inch Slicer II wheel and a back 18-inch Slicer II wheel are gorgeous and lightweight.

One-Touch Opening Saddlebags

On the exterior, it’s cramped, yet on the inside, it’s spacious. The lids open with just one touch of one hand, and the hinges are simple and tidy.

There’s a whole motorcycling universe out there to discover. Since the 1960s, when we pioneered the fully outfitted touring bike, we’ve been making motorcycles to let you explore it in the most dramatic manner imaginable. In the saddle of a Harley-Davidson Touring bike, you may explore whole continents and their mountain ranges, gorges, glaciers, tiny villages, deserts, cities, roadside attractions, experiences, and tales. No one does it better than you.

New Chrome Finish and Two-Tone Paint Options

The range of exotic Harley-Davidson bikes for 2021 includes a trio of hot rod baggers with new attitudes and amenities. The Road King Special, Road Glide Special, and Street Glide Special models blend imposing street presence with the long-haul characteristics of the Harley-Davidson Touring chassis, with a slammed posture and strong Milwaukee-Eight 114 power.

These motorcycles are built to control the street on Friday nights and sprint for the border before dawn. For 2021, the Street Glide Special and Road Glide Special models will be available in new two-tone paint schemes, as well as blacked-out or bright chrome design treatments, providing customers the option of a dark and ominous aspect or a bright and classic style. All Special models now come with a redesigned low-profile engine guard and a high-performance Ventilator air cleaner with a washable filter element.

Milwaukee-Eight 114 Power

The Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin engine, the highest displacement, and power supplied from the manufacturer for Harley-Davidson Touring model bikes, abilities each Special model. The rubber-mounted and counterbalanced Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine offers thrilling performance and a traditional Harley-Davidson style, sound, and feel in the Touring chassis. 114 cu in (1,868 ccs), 10.5:1 compression ratio, 118 ft. lb. torque @ 3250 RPM, four-valve cylinder heads (two exhaust and two intake valves per head, for a total of eight valves); increased airflow through the engine helps to power production.

Dual spark plugs for improved power and efficiency and complete burning of the air/fuel charge. A single camshaft eliminates mechanical noise, allowing a fuller exhaust tone to take center stage. A more excellent compression ratio is possible because of advanced cylinder head design, twin knock sensors, and precise cooling, allowing enhanced torque output and superior acceleration. The V-Twin engine has a 45-degree cylinder angle to keep the original Harley-Davidson appearance, sound, and feel. At highway speeds, the 6-speed Cruise Drive gearbox decreases engine RPM to improve fuel efficiency and passenger comfort. Enhances airflow to the engine and adds performance style with the new Ventilator high-performance air cleaner with a washable filter element.

Harley-Davidson Touring Chassis

The Harley-Davidson Touring frame is built to last, with a robust backbone to carry the weight of passengers and baggage, as well as contemporary engine power. Internal twin bending valve technology provides linear damping performance and a smooth ride in the front suspension. The Emulsion technology rear shocks are tuned for touring and include a single-knob pre-load adjustment that requires no tools or maintenance. Unique variants have a slammed posture because of the lower rear suspension. Special variants include Prodigy cast-aluminum wheels (19-inch front, 18-inch rear). Standard ReflexTM Linked Brembo Brakes with ABS (Antilock Braking System) is intended to help the rider retain control while braking in a straight line by preventing the wheels from locking during braking.

Harley-Davidson 2021 Road King Touring Bike

In an emergency, ABS works separately on the front and rear brakes to avoid uncontrollable wheel locks. RDRS Safety Enhancements (previously known as RDRS) – Optional RDRS Safety Enhancements (formerly known as RDRS) – A set of technologies that adapt a motorbike’s performance to the available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and braking. Linked braking, anti-lock brakes, traction control, drag-torque slip control, tire pressure monitoring system, and vehicle hold control are all included.
