The Ducati Superleggera V4 2020 Super Bike is more than a motorcycle. It’s a complete experience that takes you inside the Ducati. Superleggera V4 marks the pinnacle of engineering, creativity, attention to detail, and customer service for Ducati. It is a limited edition motorcycle of only 500 unique numbered bikes. The Superleggera V4 is a road-legged sport bike designed and built to achieve maximum on-track performance while maintaining the overall reliability and user-friendliness of race bikes.
Many parts are made of carbon fiber. Smooth firing, for example, is an aerodynamic performance comparable to or better than modern MotoGP bikes.
Desmosedici GP16-produced ‘biplane’ wings at a speed of 270 kilometers per hour produce 50 kilograms of downforce, which is 20 kilograms more than the wings of Panigale V4 MY20 and V4 R.
Inspired by the Desmosideki GP19 on carbon fiber firing, the red color of the lever GP19 contrasts with a bare carbon that emphasizes shapes, materials, and technical aspects.
The Desmosedici Stradale R engine is hidden behind a carbon core, lighter and more powerful than ever. The Superleggera V4 weighs 998 cm3 90 ° V4 less than the 1,103 cm3 V4 by 2.8 kg.

Panigale V4 becomes Ducati Superleggera: the imaginary bike is finally a reality.
The Superleggera V4 is Ducati’s most influential and technically advanced production motorbike to date and will be built in a limited edition bike of only 500 motorcycles, each individually numbered.
The world’s first and only street-legal motorbike with a carbon fiber chassis, swing arm, and wheels—extreme aerodynamics and biplane wings. In the form of a racing kit, the power/weight ratio is 1.54 HP/kg, a new high for street legal bikes. From the beginning of June 2020, 5 bikes will be delivered daily.
February 6, 2020, Borgo Panigale, Bologna – Ducati realizes its ambitions to advance the boundaries of engineering, focus on detail, and design motorcycles with Superleggera V4, a project that Bologna Company in terms of engineering, performance and design.
Ducati Motorcycles has officially unveiled its new Superleggera V4, the most powerful and technically sophisticated motorcycle created by Borgo Panigale Company, in a limited edition of only 500 unique numbered motorcycles. , After a special preview for our most passionate and devoted customers.
The Superleggera V4 is the world’s first straight-leg motorcycle that uses composite materials for the entire load-bearing structure of the chassis (frame, subframe, swing arm, and wheel), resulting in a weight loss of 6.7 kg occurs.
These components are 100% tested using state-of-the-art techniques, including thermography, ultrasonic examination, and tomography, adopted by the aerospace industry to guarantee the highest quality and safety requirements.
By increasing the length of the swing arm, the chassis ratio has been changed for optimal track use. As a result, you will have the power of unparalleled laziness, rapid bending in inclination, and sharp lines coming out of them.
Aero Package
Superleggera V4’s latest aerodynamics is an addition to the Panigale V4 MY20 and V4 R’s aero package. The Superleggera V4 Aero Package is more efficient than the package used on Moto GP bikes, thanks to biplane configured airfiles that work with high-speed rider torso firing.
Aerodynamic development, like MotoGP, began with basic CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations, which were then refined to a complete wind tunnel model.
Superleggera V4 firing consists entirely of carbon fiber, as are biplane airfiles, which are inspired by Desmosedici GP16 – the most aerodynamically efficient Desmosedici ever!
The top aerofoil is a twin taper design with an end plate with a longitudinal stroke and two additional downforce components. The leading edge of the head element bends at the angle of attack. The lower aerofile, on the other hand, has a two-part “main” and “flap” configuration and is embellished with a fissured end plate to extend the extension and minimize drag significantly.
Engine
A more powerful, lighter version of Desmosedici Stradale R Desmosedici Stradale R Desmosedici Stradale. In its road-legal version, the Desmosedici Stradale R that powers the Superleggera V4 produces 224 horsepower at 15,250 rpm and 11.8 kgm at 11,750 rpm (EU homologation data).
A 90 ° 998 cm3 V4 engine with titanium and aluminum bolts, a new, lighter 8-disc clutch, a weight-loss machining camshaft, a lighter gear shift drum, an oil pump without a return step from the ends, and titanium mini Folds that work. At the center of the Tandem Superleague V4 with Road Legal Acropovi Silencer.
Low carbon fiber weight
Ducati built carbon fiber frames and swing arms from the ground, shedding light on Ducati Corse’s knowledge of calculation methods, material selection, and testing methods.
To ensure their integrity under all possible conditions, the components underwent rigorous final testing during development, and each item was tailored to the quality control procedures used in Moto GP.
Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO
Engine brake control (EBC) helps riders to maximize the stability of the bike during extreme turns. During hard braking, the EBC EVO monitors the position of the throttle body valve, the selected gear, and the loss of the crankshaft and adjusts the throttle aperture to balance the torque supplied to the tire, which leans the angle better.
