Ducati 2020 Panigale V2 Sports Bike Review Price Specs

Panigale’s twin-cylinder engine has been completely replaced. The Ducati 2020 Panigale V2 Sports Bike features an entirely new look, modern electronics based on a 6-axis weed foundation, and a more comfortable rider seat and suspension seat, making road riding more enjoyable and user-friendly than ever sporty but safer. Performance included. The Upper Motorcycle Maniker informs fans of the Ducati’s twin-cylinder that a 955 cm3 super Quadro engine powers it.

The multiple firing gently embraces the monocoque frame, emphasizing the compactness of the Super Quadro Twin Cylinder engine to create a bike that is visually more compact and less dangerous than the Panigale V4.

Other essential features of the Panigale V2 design are the redesigned exhaust with a single-sided swing arm and incredibly compact under-engine silencer, and single-side end pipe. The trademark Ducati red paint and black wheels complement the distinctive lines of the Ducati Superbikes.

Improvements to the Panigale V2 chassis and new Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires make the ride more intuitive, fast, and fun, and acceptable tuning of the hydraulic suspension setting improves road comfort.

The 955 cm3 Super Quadro engine, now compliant with Euro 5, produces even more power (+5 hp) and torque (+2 Nm). The Superquadro Euro 5 is as user-friendly on the road as it is vital – yet always in control – on track, with a maximum power of 155hp @ 10,750 rpm and a peak torque of 104Nm @ 9,000 rpm. Valve play checks are performed every 24,000 km, and servicing is completed every 12,000 km or every 12 months.

Even the Panigale V2’s extensive, state-of-the-art electronics package, built on a 6-axis herb, leaves no question in the rider’s mind that he has sports blood flowing in his veins.

Ducati presents a Series of New Models for 2020

Ducati has unveiled the best and latest bikes and e-bikes for 2020 before EICMA 2019, which will be held at Fiera Milano-Rho from 7 to 10 November. A wholly refurbished collection, ready to set new standards in aesthetics, performance and technology.

Ducati World Première 2020 culmination of the Global Dealers Conference, which brought together more than a thousand prominent Ducati dealers from 71 countries. The event, live-streamed worldwide on the Internet, took place on the stage of Palacongressi di Rimini on Wednesday, October 23, and it was Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, who personally unveiled the new 2020 range.

Claudio Domenicali, who launched Ducati World Première 2020, commented, “We have chosen to live in Motor Valley for Ducati World Première 2020, an area that connects great brands – the world. I’m unique – we’re happy to be a part of it. “Today, we showcase a variety of fantasy bikes, as well as three new e-bikes that complement the Ducati MIG-RR, which was introduced last year.” At the top is the MIG-RR Limited Edition, which includes highly unusual components such as carbon codes and an electronic shifter, as well as the ability to be personalized with the customer’s name and a specific suspension configuration.

Regarding bikes, there are new colors for Diavel and Ducati Scrambler, a unique Grand Tour version of the Multistrada 1260 S, and three brand-new models. The Panigale V2, our Super Sporty Twin, powered by a 955cc Super Quadro engine, is a medium-weight superbike that is fresh in appearance and performance.

We also show the updated version of the Panigale V4, which for the second year in a row, was the most popular sports bike in the world.

The long-awaited Streetfighter V4 is the last to take the stage, an unusual bike for which we used “The Fight Formula” in the Borgo Panigale: we took the Desmosedici Stradale 1,103cc engine, the latest generation electronic package of the Panigale V4 included. Lightweight, it added a long and wide handlebar to a dry weight of 178 kg, removed the firing, and achieved 208 hp @ 12,750 rpm.

A high-performance motorbike with a focus on comfort, comfortable ergonomics, a plush seat, and road-ready suspension. A safer bike, like the other new-generation Ducatis, because of a comprehensive technical package aimed primarily at improving ride comfort and safety.

Design

The new Panigale V2 is a muscular but compact bike with a clean shape that demonstrates the power without sacrificing the flare of the trademark Ducati Superbike. Unlike the 959 Panigale, the Panigale V2 has a one-way aluminum swing arm, standard on all Ducati high-end sports bikes. The wide firing is softly sculpted on a beautiful monocoque frame, featuring a more compact twin-cylinder super Quadro engine (smaller than the Desmosedici Stradale), resulting in a motorcycle that is more visual than the Panigale V4 as thin and less dangerous.

Ergonomics

The Panigale V2 has improved ergonomics compared to the 959 Panigale, making it more comfortable. The modified seat allows for extended flexibility while improving comfort due to the extra cushioning. On the other hand, the position of foot pegs remains the same.

Engine

The Euro 5 standard is met by a 955 cm3 dual cylinder super Quadro engine. This Porsche 959 produces five horsepower and 2 Nm more torque than the engine found in the Panigale. It also has a unique small exhaust silencer that is extensive under the engine. With 155 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm, this twin-cylinder engine delivers power with ease and enjoyment while being strong on the road – but always under control.

Redesigned injectors (two per cylinder, one above and one below the butterfly, larger and re-angle) and new input ducts, which lose less pressure than their predecessors while maintaining the same rate of delivery, and intake performance. Make better There is no change in the diameter of the oval throttle body equal to 62 mm. A comprehensive ride through the wiring system controls the throttle bodies independently of each other.

The redesigned silencer has a new internal architecture that reduces noise more efficiently while keeping the pressure constant.

Chassis

Monocoque frame

The Panigale V2 frame is made of a compact, high-strength diecast aluminum monocoque construction in which the super Quadro engine acts as a pressure element.

The monocoque frame, which connects directly to the cylinder ends, proceeds to the steering head bearings, enclosed in two aluminum bushes. The monocoque acts as both a frame and an air box, which includes not only the new air filter but also the throttle bodies and fuel circuit, including the injectors, and is enclosed under a steel fuel tank.

Suspension

The front fork on the Panigale V2 is a 43mm Shaw BPF fork with total adjustment in pre-spring load, compression, and rebound damping. The Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) significantly enhances low-speed damping control by ensuring a low-pressure oil supply and minimizing the fluid required for compression and rebound adjustment. Compared to common types of forks, this results in increased suspension efficiency and significant weight savings. The front-end cut is completed with a sex steering damper. The rear suspension has a fully adjustable sex monoshock and responds to motion provided by the diecast single-sided aluminum swing arm via progressive-rate linkage.

Wheels and Tyres

The Panigale V2 has a 5-spoke, 3.5-inch front wheel, and a 5.5-inch rear wheel, both with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires: a 120/70 ZR17 front and a Zippy 180/60 ZR17 rear. The Diablo Rosso Corsa II, Pirelli’s first multi-compound bike tire, combines race track performance with road adaptation, making it ideal for the Panigale V2. Perelli’s expertise at the World Superbike Championships led to the development of multi-compound technology. As a result, dual compound front tires with three separate application zones and tri-compound rear tires with five application zones were developed to improve connectivity patches and to obtain full road and all surface conditions. Track grip can be obtained at any skin dry or wet angle.

Braking System

The front brakes on the Panigale V2 are dual M4.32 Brembo monoblock calipers controlled by a master cylinder. The front calipers grip the 320 mm disc, while a Brembo caliper grips a single 245 mm disc at the rear.

Engine Brake Control EVO (EBC EVO)

The EBC (engine brake control) system was designed to help riders maximize the stability of a motorcycle in extreme turns by balancing the forces applied to the rear tires during strong engine brakes. During hard braking, the Panigale V2 EBC EVO system analyzes the position of the throttle valve, the selected gear, and the super Quadro crank shaft desalination. It adjusts the throttle aperture to balance the torque given to the tire.
