The 955 cm3 Super Quadro engine, now compliant with Euro 5, produces even more power (+5 hp) and torque (+2 Nm). The Superquadro Euro 5 is as user-friendly on the road as it is vital – yet always in control – on track, with a maximum power of 155hp @ 10,750 rpm and a peak torque of 104Nm @ 9,000 rpm. Valve play checks are performed every 24,000 km, and servicing is completed every 12,000 km or every 12 months.

Ducati World Première 2020 culmination of the Global Dealers Conference, which brought together more than a thousand prominent Ducati dealers from 71 countries. Design
The new Panigale V2 is a muscular but compact bike with a clean shape that demonstrates the power without sacrificing the flare of the trademark Ducati Superbike. Unlike the 959 Panigale, the Panigale V2 has a one-way aluminum swing arm, standard on all Ducati high-end sports bikes. The wide firing is softly sculpted on a beautiful monocoque frame, featuring a more compact twin-cylinder super Quadro engine (smaller than the Desmosedici Stradale), resulting in a motorcycle that is more visual than the Panigale V4 as thin and less dangerous.
Ergonomics
The Panigale V2 has improved ergonomics compared to the 959 Panigale, making it more comfortable. The modified seat allows for extended flexibility while improving comfort due to the extra cushioning. On the other hand, the position of foot pegs remains the same.
Engine
The Euro 5 standard is met by a 955 cm3 dual cylinder super Quadro engine. This Porsche 959 produces five horsepower and 2 Nm more torque than the engine found in the Panigale. It also has a unique small exhaust silencer that is extensive under the engine. With 155 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm, this twin-cylinder engine delivers power with ease and enjoyment while being strong on the road – but always under control.
Redesigned injectors (two per cylinder, one above and one below the butterfly, larger and re-angle) and new input ducts, which lose less pressure than their predecessors while maintaining the same rate of delivery, and intake performance. Monocoque frame
The Panigale V2 frame is made of a compact, high-strength diecast aluminum monocoque construction in which the super Quadro engine acts as a pressure element.
The monocoque frame, which connects directly to the cylinder ends, proceeds to the steering head bearings, enclosed in two aluminum bushes. The monocoque acts as both a frame and an air box, which includes not only the new air filter but also the throttle bodies and fuel circuit, including the injectors, and is enclosed under a steel fuel tank.
Suspension
The front fork on the Panigale V2 is a 43mm Shaw BPF fork with total adjustment in pre-spring load, compression, and rebound damping. The Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) significantly enhances low-speed damping control by ensuring a low-pressure oil supply and minimizing the fluid required for compression and rebound adjustment. Compared to common types of forks, this results in increased suspension efficiency and significant weight savings. The front-end cut is completed with a sex steering damper. The rear suspension has a fully adjustable sex monoshock and responds to motion provided by the diecast single-sided aluminum swing arm via progressive-rate linkage.
Wheels and Tyres
The Panigale V2 has a 5-spoke, 3.5-inch front wheel, and a 5.5-inch rear wheel, both with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires: a 120/70 ZR17 front and a Zippy 180/60 ZR17 rear. The Diablo Rosso Corsa II, Pirelli’s first multi-compound bike tire, combines race track performance with road adaptation, making it ideal for the Panigale V2. Perelli’s expertise at the World Superbike Championships led to the development of multi-compound technology. As a result, dual compound front tires with three separate application zones and tri-compound rear tires with five application zones were developed to improve connectivity patches and to obtain full road and all surface conditions. Track grip can be obtained at any skin dry or wet angle.
Braking System
The front brakes on the Panigale V2 are dual M4.32 Brembo monoblock calipers controlled by a master cylinder. The front calipers grip the 320 mm disc, while a Brembo caliper grips a single 245 mm disc at the rear.
Engine Brake Control EVO (EBC EVO)
The EBC (engine brake control) system was designed to help riders maximize the stability of a motorcycle in extreme turns by balancing the forces applied to the rear tires during strong engine brakes. During hard braking, the Panigale V2 EBC EVO system analyzes the position of the throttle valve, the selected gear, and the super Quadro crank shaft desalination. It adjusts the throttle aperture to balance the torque given to the tire.
