The BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter is an impressive option when it comes to mid-size scooters, few can match the Gran Turismo’s combination of luxurious luxury, sporty handling, and hours of riding enjoyment.
In 2011, BMW Motorrad introduced the C 600 Sport and C 650 GT, two premium maxi-scooters, first in a new product category in urban mobility.
These were subsequently followed by the C 400 X, a dynamically focused luxury vehicle for the mid-size scooter sector unveiled in the fall of 2017. Here comes the Gran Turismo-styled BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter, a more comfortable and capable mid-size scooter that BMW Motorrad has just revealed.
With the new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter, you can make the most of your spare time, whether you’re heading into town, heading to the workplace, or on tour after work or at the weekend. You may ride it solo or with a passenger.
BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter – Features and Price
Powerful Single-cylinder Engine
The BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter’s single-cylinder engine, which also powers the C 400 X, has been optimized for the economy and produces 34 horsepower (25 kW).
An all-new CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox and a torsionally robust drivetrain swing arm with a unique swing arm bearing are used to transmit power, resulting in minimal vibration and optimum comfort for the rider. As a result of Automatic Stability Control ASC, acceleration is safer, particularly on slick roads.
Rugged Tubular Steel Frame
The new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter, like the BMW C 400 X, has a steel tubular space frame. A telescopic fork up front and two spring struts in the back handle suspension and damping, respectively.
The spring travel and suspension set-up have been chosen to provide a high degree of comfort while allowing for a dynamic and athletic riding experience. Twin disc brakes up front, single disc brakes at the back, and ABS are standard on this vehicle, resulting in incredible stopping power and safety.
LED Lighting Technology
The new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter, in addition to basic LED illumination, also has several connection elements that are novel to the sector. Ex-works options include, for example, a multifunctional instrument cluster with a 6.5-inch full-color TFT screen.
For riders, this means that the BMW Motorrad Multi-integrated Controller’s functioning implies that they can swiftly access vehicle and connection features while still maintaining their focus on the road.
With the ability to use a phone and listen to music while traveling, a functional arrow system makes it extremely easy to find your way about.
Modern and Innovative Design
As a proud member of the BMW Motorrad C family, the BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter is easily recognizable because of its stylish and practical appeal – whether it’s riding about town or on a long-distance trip with someone else.
The aerodynamically designed dual LED headlights with the distinctive design of the LED daytime running light (country-specific) in the shape of fiber optic components dominate from the front. The new Gran Turismo for the mid-size scooter sector stands out from the crowd thanks to its sleek and naturally sculpted body element with integrated turn indicators.
In addition to the C 400 X‘s taller windscreen, which provides better wind and weather protection, the new mid-size scooter also has a well-thought-out storage idea that includes two gloveboxes and a flex case beneath the comfortable, single-section seat. Keyless Ride comes standard on the new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter as a bonus of convenience.
The ignition, steering lock, seat, fuel cap, and storage compartments may all be operated with ease thanks to this. Instead of using footrests, the new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter includes a seat with a separate rider backrest and passenger footboards.
Attractive Paint Finishing
The new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter is available in two color options. Highlighting the scooter’s unusual design, Alpine White is an excellent choice. New Gran Turismo’s quickness, simple access, and effortlessness are highlighted by the color, which offers a sensation of lightness.
For those who want a more up-to-date and harmonic Gran Turismo experience, there’s Moonwalk Grey, which does just that. The new BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter’s paint finish is very contemporary, and it blends well with the contrast colors used to produce a consistent overall look. BMW 2020 C400GT Scooter’s Black storm metallic paint enhances the car’s striking, high-quality appearance.
