After the MotoGP races, the first name that comes to mind when someone talks about racing is off-road racing. Finally, the time has arrived and the 2018 Dakar Rally has finally been started. The weather was suitable for the race and the Dakar 2018 Day 1 Race Results are given below. It was started in Lima, Peru and ended 273 kilometers away in Pisco. By the time the first competitors reach the finish in Cordoba, Argentina. They will have traveled some 9000 kilometers (5600 miles), spread over 14 stages plus one day of rest in La Paz, Bolivia.
A lot of riders participated in the race from different countries. The most experienced players from America i.e. Ricky Brabec, Bill Conger, Andrew Short and Shane Esposito on the Monster Energy Honda Team also participated.
