The 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle is modeled after the cars that won six Dakar races for legendary French rider Stéphane Peter Hansel. It features unique factory racing colors and a high-end specification that includes a lightweight Akrapovič slip-on muffler, black-finished flat rally seats, special long-travel forks, and wheels.

This high-end adventure bike is the latest model in the Yamaha Adventure lineup. The 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle is equipped with top-of-the-line KYB suspension, an integrated TFT meter, a popular big-torque 690cc CP2 engine, and two 23-liter dual fuel tanks to make it ready for any adventure.

It features the iconic factory racing colors inspired by Stefan Peter Hansel’s 1993 Dakar race bike.
A 5-inch color TFT meter with smartphone connectivity, 3-mode switchable ABS, an Öhlins adjustable steering damper, and a 23-litre dual-side-mounted fuel tank are part of its rally-ready specification. Additionally, it features an exclusive Akrapovič titanium muffler and a dedicated flat 2-piece seat better than 2022 Yamaha Tenere 700.

The 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle honors all the brave factory riders who have competed in the world’s most challenging event. It celebrates Yamaha’s winning Dakar history with its iconic blue, pink fluo, and silver historic rally racing colors based on the design used. Stéphane Peterhansel on his 1993 factory bike. Double side-mounted 23-litre fuel tank
The 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle features a race-engineered 23-liter fuel tank, which provides excellent autonomy for long-distance rides. Yamaha was the first to use a long-range fuel tank on its winning Dakar bikes.
To achieve mass centralization for nimble handling, most of the fuel is carried as low as possible, and the top of the tanks is placed lower than the traditional Ténéré to facilitate rider movement.
High-quality front fork: KYB 43 mm with 230 mm of travel
On long off-road rides, the 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle’s premium suspension systems are engineered to deliver exceptional handling performance. Thanks to their full spring preload, compression, and rebound damping adjustments, the rider can fine-tune the 43mm black KYB front forks to accommodate different loads, riding conditions, and speeds. The World Rally is also ready to tackle the roughest road terrain thanks to its 230mm of travel.
220mm travel aluminum piggyback rear shock
The highly specced front end is mated to an adjustable rear suspension system with a competition-grade aluminum body and a piggyback reservoir for reliable damping performance. The World Rally Shock has a vast bump stop and a unique connection for 220mm of rear wheel travel.

The lightweight Öhlins adjustable steering damper has eighteen settings, allowing the rider to get the most out of the standard suspension systems and increasing confidence and control in rough conditions.
A flat rally-inspired two-piece seat
The two-piece design of the flat rally-inspired seat allows it to fit racks or luggage by removing the rear section. In addition to providing smooth front/rear weight transfer and effortless riding maneuverability, the dual black-gray material design of the flat profile also provides a firm yet comfortable ride. Additionally, the seat has a World Rally emblem for added character.
Three themes and 5-inch color TFT with mobile connectivity
The new 2023 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Rally Adventure Motorcycle riders can choose from three switchable screen styles: digital, analog, or roadbook. The connected 5 inches color TFT display can also display text messages and incoming call notifications when connected to a smartphone using the free MyRide app.

3-mode ABS with switchable modes
World Rally’s 3-mode switchable ABS allows the rider complete control over the bike’s behavior in different terrains. Fully engaged in Mode 1, both wheels have ABS, which is required by law on public roads. With the front wheels on and rear wheels off in Mode 2, the rider can feel more confident on rough gravel trails. In Mode 3, all wheels are locked, giving the rider maximum control when riding in the dirt.
