The Brutale RR, dressed in Matt Hedonist Red/Matt Metallic Carbon Black color, is the first heir to the 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR in style and aggression. The impressive Matte Metallic Carbon Black/Matte Metallic Dark Gray variant is tough and sealed with a Magma Red stroke to complete a distinctive appearance. The Brutale RR is the ultimate naked bike with a curb weight of just 198 kg and 208 HP of power.
The names of the motorcycles in the MV Agusta series are self-explanatory and need no further explanation. Thus, since 2001, using the term “Brutality” has been enough to understand that you are talking about a model with minimal filters that expresses pleasure from every point of view, whether in motion or stationary. An extreme nudist who is always ready to meet the demands of the masses and doesn’t settle for anything to show off. Instead, they are constantly looking for ride dynamics that provide riders with unforgettable experiences and do it in a way that is becoming more and more realistic.
The 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR and R.S. of the Brutale family will get improvements for 2023 that are primarily functional rather than purely cosmetic. With 23 significant upgrades spread across the engine, chassis, and electronics, this style maintains the tried and proper balance between distinctive features and an aggressive front and rear end. These components aim to further emphasize the seamless integration between the rider and the bike, which has been favored since the beginning due to its simple and straightforward design. This result is admittedly difficult to achieve when a 208 HP bike is stretched very linearly.
On a mechanical level, the balance shaft—a defining feature of both Brutale variants—is the most critical component to be added to the inline four-cylinder engine’s crankcase. Next year, the R.R. and R.S. will share the same engine and frame. The R.R. will be distinguished by high-end suspension components and racing-inspired carbon fiber technical and aesthetic details, such as Öhlins Nix 43 forks with balance shafts on the R.R. and Marzocchi with DLC surface treatment on the R.S. With a 54% reduction in values, it is clear that the counter-rotating crankshaft in the improved crankcase reduces the high-frequency secondary vibration. It rotates at twice the speed of the crankshaft.
Vibration reduction provides significant benefits for saddle, handlebar, and footpeg comfort and improves mirror visibility. Less vibration indirectly benefits ride dynamics, allowing for more precise cornering and greater reliance on the 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR’s advanced electronics. More than 80 electronic components handle multiple operations, and removing high-frequency vibrations reduces the likelihood of damaging connections and components.
The engine, which still holds the title of the most powerful naked bike, still has all the technical features that set it apart, starting with MV Agusta-only titanium radial valves and continuing with other components. Remains that add value, such as fake titanium connecting rods and all other inventions, have reduced internal friction to a great extent.
A new saddle also debuts with the 2023 model year. It retains the traditional shape but adds dual-density cushioning to increase comfort and help maintain an optimal riding position.
Engine management and control functions have also been updated as part of the continued development of the Brutale family. The first innovation is the addition of a sophisticated electronic throttle that rotates in the opposite direction. It removes the on-off sensation and gives a more natural feel. Turning off the cruise control also has the benefit of making the deceleration much more gradual. The sudden deceleration caused by applying the brake or clutch to stop at a set cruising speed avoids negative throttle rotation.
MV Agusta has consistently led the way in electronics, offering the latest control and safety innovations. Thanks to this course, we have consistently outperformed our competitors regarding state-of-the-art dynamic controls. All of our competitors have improved torque, traction, and launch control management on the Brutale models for 2023 to provide riders with an unmatched level of emotion transfer.
The development of Front Lift Control adheres to our innovation-focused attitude. With the help of an innovative algorithm and inertial control platform, this feature fully controls the wheels. The algorithm is designed to keep the wheel running at maximum speed without suddenly reducing power. Thanks to the inertial platform, the pitch angle can be adjusted to improve efficiency, safety, and acceleration. In the HyperNicd category, the most advanced rider assistance package includes Launch Control (L.C.) and FLC functions.
2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Naked Bike – Features and Specs
Engine
With the addition of a countershaft unit, the engine of an all-new 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR has been modified to reduce second-order vibrations by 54 percent, improving comfort and reliability. As with three-cylinder engines, the valve tappets are treated with DLC to minimize internal friction and increase efficiency. A new cam profile has been designed to maximize torque availability. Titanium is used to make radial valves.
Ride-By-Wire
The new electronic ride-by-wire throttle control with 6° negative rotation significantly increases the throttle feel on all four-cylinder bikes, resulting in sharper and more intuitive bike handling. Novel control algorithms also deserve recognition. It is optimized to deliver a response that is befitting a 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR without being overly harsh. Previously, braking was necessary to turn off the cruise control. However, with the revised configuration, the throttle control and control management allow this to happen simply by closing the throttle.
Electronics
The benefits of software updates and networking features also contribute to the overall improvement in the instrumentation, centered on a 5.5″ T.F.T. panel. You can rest easy at night with the Mobisat geo-localized anti-theft solution. Likewise, the updated Continental Cornering A.B.S. and Inertial Platform also offer the highest level of safety.
Design N.E.C. Plus Naked
Once again, Brothel reigns supreme among hyperlinked motorcycles. Its leadership has focused on design, engine power, and ride experience since the original model. Today, the latest engine, benchmark electronics, and impeccable component quality have taken the new 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR back to the top.
Feel the Power Of Sound
Revised camshaft timing improves the torque curve at medium/low rpm, adding even more excitement to an impressive 208 horsepower. Redesigned transmission gears have increased efficiency and reduced friction. A revised central manifold on the exhaust and reinforced transmission combine to deliver an even more thrilling exhaust note better than 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR.
Use Your Instincts
As you’d expect from an uncompromising hyperdrive, the new suspension platform makes traction and wheel control even more precise and efficient, improving safety and focusing on maximizing performance. Shifting is smoother and more accurate with the EAS 3.0 electronic gearbox.
SCI-FI Tech
The Brutale project, that blazed a trail of technology, style, and performance from the start, is known for its exceptional quality. It is evidenced by using titanium for the intake, exhaust valves, and connecting rods. The rider interface is also excellent, thanks to the 5.5″ T.F.T. screen, multi-function electrical controls, and the MV Ride app, which lets you adjust numerous electronics and engine parameters directly from your smartphone.
Safety
The final step in the continuous evolution to enhance rider and passenger safety is the installation of Continental A.B.S. with cornering capability. Brembo Stylema calipers, radial pump handlebar control, and large-diameter discs round out the braking system in terms of power and ease of use. The footrests of 2023 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR are now forged, and the saddle has been tweaked for better ergonomics.
