The V9 Bobber is a sporty variant of the Moto Guzzi that introduced the medium-engine size bobber category. It is a bike with a vast, authentic personality and minimalistic style. It is characterized by the almost entirely black finish of every component and the big, big tires that ensure a lot of contact with the ground, like second on motorcycles. The post-war American era of racing on high-speed dirt tracks led to the Bobber phenomenon. This authentic sporty heritage characterizes the V9 Bobber Special Edition, the new series from Moto Guzzi with a night look that stands out with its genuinely unique equipment package.
2023 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Special Edition Motorcycle – Features
Riding is a Joy
With its state-of-the-art engineering and abundance of advanced technology, this bike is only for some who want to blend in.
Engine
The ride feel is brought to a new level thanks to a completely redesigned twin-cylinder 850cc, 65 horsepower, 53.8 ft-lb engine, and modern frame. New finishes, footpegs, and saddle deliver all the style you’ve come to expect from a Mandello Eagle bike.
After all, the fact that Moto Guzzi custom bikes have been one of the world’s most loved and popular bikes for over a century is no accident. Their distinctive design has been admired for generations, and the twin-cylinder 90° V-engine sits at the heart of each.
Ergonomics
The new Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Special Edition is primarily distinguished by its unique workshop twin-tone black and gray color scheme, extending to the aluminum side panels. This color scheme features a metallic teardrop fuel tank featuring a billet aluminum cap. Equipment is completed with a short front mudguard, fork seals, and bar end mirrors mounted on the handlebar ends.
These components enhance the strong sense of quality already perceived by the V9 models. The new frame’s welds, paint job, and engine details—including the castings and matte black highlighting the Moto Guzzi symbol found on the aluminum cylinder head covers—are all expertly finished. The 90° transverse V-twin engine is another finely detailed feature.
Exhaust
A matte black aluminum underbody, street-legal slip-on exhaust, and a sleek, slanted design in the terminal section accentuate the distinctive sound of the Moto Guzzi 850 twin-cylinder.
Styling
This unique V9 Bobber variant seamlessly combines elegance with sportiness. It is always distinguished by a comprehensive, sporty, and dynamic riding position that is never compromised by the ample board space, making it suitable for even the tallest riders. Combined with a curb weight limit of just 210 kg and a seat height of just 785 mm, these features deliver amazingly exceptional comfort, control, and genuinely one-of-a-kind biking enjoyment.
