Throttle Body
A brand-new 39 mm throttle body is a significant update for the 2023 KTM XC lineup. The injectors are mounted in a double-injector pattern to ensure the most efficient passage into the combustion chamber. At the same time, the throttle cable is affixed directly without a throttle linkage for a smoother, unrestricted throttle action. It contributes to a cleaner, more efficient fuel ignition, as well as an increase in power with minimal effort.
Counter Balancer Shaft

Frame
Regardless of how treacherous the trail is, you will maintain complete control due to a brand-new frame design engineered for longitudinal rigidity and adjusting rotating mass slightly closer to the center of gravity. Additionally, thicker frame walls enhance durability, flex characteristics, and rider feel. A new shock mounting also improves anti-squat behavior for better corner exit traction. In contrast, the footpeg mounting position has been relocated inward to reduce the risk of snagging on roots or pebbles. In addition, incorporating forged brackets on the lower frame rails facilitates the skid plate’s installation.
Polyamide-Reinforced Aluminium Subframe
An all-new 2-piece polyamide (60%) reinforced aluminum (40%) subframe saves a remarkable amount of weight at only 4 pounds. With computational dynamics, the subframe’s rigidity was meticulously calculated, resulting in exceptional handling and feedback while remaining robust and dependable.
Wheels and Tyres
Not only do they look the part, they also play it! GIANT’s high-strength, lightweight alloy black rims are coupled to CNC-machined hubs using lightweight spokes and silver anodized aluminum nipples. The spoke nipples have been redesigned to reduce the frequency of spoke inspections and maintenance. A new Dunlop GEOMAX MX-33F takes care of business at the front, including a GEOMAX AT81 concluding the outfit.
Footrests
The brand-new, CFD-designed footrests provide a larger contact area for improved bike control while standing on the pedals but also make them less susceptible to catching on deep trail ruts, logs, and boulders. It was made possible by a new, slimmer frame mounting design, which also reduces the overall weight.
Swingarm
A new hollow, die-cast aluminum swing arm is intended to provide optimal rigidity and dependability at the lowest weight feasible. WP XACT Rear Suspension
A brand-new rear shock design reduces overall length and weight compared to the previous iteration while maintaining 300 mm of suspension travel. Adjustment is now handled by a hand-adjustable dual compression control knob, which enables fast, tool-free adjustment of high- and low-speed settings. Together with the redesigned rebound and preload adjusters, this allows motorcyclists to alter their shock settings without tools or assistance from a pit crew member.
Hydraulic Clutch
The high-performance Bemba hydraulic clutch system ensures uniform wear, virtually maintenance-free operation, and flawless modulation in all conditions. In other words, play is continuously compensated so that the overall pressure point and function of the clutch remain the same in chilly and heated conditions, as well as over time. The KTM XC and XC-F models for 2023 feature an entirely new and improved rider triangle, which provides improved knee contact — particularly when standing on the pedals — and enhanced grasping surfaces all around. New polymers work to repel mud buildup in damp, marshy conditions, while a new, flatter seat profile and orange, high-grip seat cover offer exceptional rider movement and control. A convenient grasp compartment under the saddle, just above the air box, facilitates retaining and elevating the bicycle.
