The 2023 Indian Challenger RR Bagger is the first time fans can buy a purpose-built race bagger. Hand-crafted and race-tuned with the same setup that won O’Hara’s second King of the Beggars championship, Indian Motorcycle, and S&S enthusiasts and collectors have the unique opportunity to own a piece of history. Providing an opportunity.
Initially, many people found the idea of road racing baggers confusing, and some road racing purists even found it offensive. But since these bikes have grown in sophistication over the past three years, the King of the Beggars has become the hottest thing in motorcycle racing, so we thought it would be great to give people a chance to own one. It will be as good as the title says to Gary Gray, Vice President, Technology and Service Division, Indian Motorcycle Racing. “We are excited to celebrate our second championship and embrace the bagger racing community with this minimal, unique run of Indian Challenger RR motorcycles. The Challenger RR is a proper bike, just like we did with the venerable FTR750. Was unveiled. Race bikes are not suitable for public use. If it’s in the right hands, it will end up on the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Beggars racing series podium.
2023 Indian Challenger RR Bagger – Features and Specs
Automatic chain tensioner
The Challenger RR, according to Indian, was “built to 2022 race specs by the same S&S hands that stripped Tyler O’Hara’s #29 championship-winning bike.”
Engine
The Power Plus motor in the Challenger gets a displacement bump and extra equipment. The stroke remains unaffected while the bore is stretched to 0.08 inches (2 mm). CNC heads have been ported, increasing displacement from 108ci (1768cc) to 112ci (1834cc). The 78mm throttle body is monitored by a fully adjustable MaXX Sport ECU and an AIM DL2 data logger dash records operations. Bharti RR makes no claims about the torque or horsepower of the motor.
Drive train
The final drive is automatically tensioned from a belt to a 530 chain. Similarly, a modified swing arm is used. Apart from this, a quick shifter is also installed on the six-speed transmission.
Styling
The geometry has been updated for the Challenger RR. The trail has shrunk from 1.4 to 4.5 inches, and the rake has been tweaked from two to 23 degrees. The wheelbase has increased by 0.05 inches. Modifications like adjustable triple clamps are responsible for the advanced stats.
Suspension
Ohlins units handle suspension duties with full adjustability. The fork travels like a standard Challenger fork and is 43mm inverted FGR250. Although a TTX shock is used, Indian hasn’t revealed rear wheel travel.
Tires and wheels
The 2023 Indian Challenger RR has high-performance wheels, as one would expect from a race bike. The traditional 19-/16-inch seat has been replaced with 17-inch forged aluminum rims. The base Challenger’s Metzeler Cruisetec tires have been swapped out for a set of Dunlop Sportmax Q5s. Brembo M4 calipers with SBS pads and two 330mm discs mounted on Alfa Racing carriers are in charge of the front brakes. An EBC disc with a Hayes caliper and SBS brake pads is used for the rear brakes.
Seat
You’ll need a ladder to climb into the saddle main seat. The seat on the base bike is 8.5 inches lower than the perch on the Challenger RR.
Activity measurement
Air is pierced through the aero windshield. With the inclusion of headlights, you can avoid riding at night.
The rear fender of the saddlebag is made of fiberglass, while the saddlebag is made of carbon fiber.
