Yamaha’s Power Valve System (YPVSTM) allows for powerful low-end torque and impressive mid- and high-end performance. With its power jet and throttle position sensor, the high-precision Hitachi Astemo® Keihin PWK38S carburetor guarantees perfect fueling and ignition timing for outstanding throttle response and readability. The YZ125’s close-ratio six-speed gearbox and digital ignition technology allow it to function well under heavy throttle. Its high-capacity radiator improves cooling efficiency and gives it a more intimidating appearance.

Chassis/Suspension

The bike’s race-proven aluminum semi-double-cradle frame combines rigidity and flexibility, allowing superb stability and handling in tight corners. Its agile chassis allows for more control and less wear and tear on the riders. The 48mm inverted shape of the KYB® fork ensures accurate damping and increased comfort. The rear shock provides excellent wheel control with Kashima CoatTM internals, independent adjustments, and a travel distance of 12.4 inches.
