The new YZ125X has a two-stroke engine, which is more powerful and versatile than the previous model year’s four-stroke engine. The power jet, throttle position sensor, and 3D-map-controlled CDI unit included in the new Hitachi Astemo Keihin PWK38S carburetor allow accurate ignition timing.

The result is a responsive throttle with no sluggishness, a comfortable ride, and great character at high revs. Close-ratio modified Transmission gearbox gear tooth width has been increased in the updated close-ratio six-speed gearbox, and new gear ratios have been optimized for improved performance. On narrow, challenging routes, the exhaust expansion chamber’s small design ensures horizontal and vertical clearance. The radiator’s massive size and the stealthy appearance of its black louvers make it ideal for extreme racing conditions.
