The 2023 Honda CRF300L ABS Dirt Motorcycle has been the best-selling dual-sport motorbike for years, and the CRF300LS will make it accessible to a broader audience in 2023 by lowering the seat height. The ordinary and ABS versions of the CRF300L, which returns with a standard seat height, provide low-cost transportation and make the thrill of dual-sport riding very accessible. The LS version comes standard with anti-lock brakes.
2023 Honda CRF300L ABS Dirt Motorcycle – Features and Specs
The Honda CRF300L is a dual-use motorbike designed for one thing: providing the finest ride possible. Lightweight construction and an upright riding stance allow complete control over any terrain, from narrow single-track to busy highways. This design’s accessibility and abundant low-end torque make it ideal for precision handling. With its agile handling and well-thought-out features, this bike is a top performer in every circumstance. New standard handguards provide more weather protection, and optional anti-lock brakes (ABS) give you even more excellent command in the face of the unexpected. With the CRF300L, you can take advantage of everything that riding on the road and on the dirt has to offer. Even if it’s only one bicycle, you’ll be happier than a dog with two.
Be There. Wherever There Is.
The CRF300L has been reinvented with a lighter frame, sleeker bodywork, and more engine power and torque. While the technical details have been refined, the ingenious dual-use concept has remained unchanged. The same characteristics that make it excel on the dirt are equally at home in the city: compact dimensions, quick acceleration, nimble handling, and a forgiving suspension. The CRF300L provides a pleasurable and rewarding performance, making the everyday commute more fun. It is the kind of motorbike made for weekend road trips.
Lighter. More powerful. Even More Fun.
Whether riding on or off-road, the CRF300L’s redesigned frame and tapered aluminum swingarm provide a noticeable weight savings of 4 kilograms. The bigger single-cylinder engine now has an Assist/Slipper Clutch and generates an additional 1.9kW of power and 4Nm of torque, which is immediately noticeable when the throttle is opened. The fuel tank and the seat have been slimmed down and reshaped to give the rider total control over the vehicle. The display now has a Gear Position indication, and the new headlamp design is bold and modern.
Ready For Work and Play
The CRF300L’s ancestry can be traced back to the equally impressive CRF450R and CRF450RX.
So, it’s off to a fantastic beginning. We have enhanced its dual-sport performance in every way possible owing to HRC and their racing programmers. Having an extra 30 millimeters of ground clearance makes it considerably simpler to drive over logs and curbs.
Honda CRF300L Born Ready
The 5mm increase in seat height to 880mm aids in natural handling, while the fuel tank’s thin profile allows unrestricted forward motion. The CRF300L is prepared from birth for both urban riding and off-road exploration.
Single-Cylinder Engine
The CRF300L is the ideal bike for a single-cylinder engine. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and economical on gas.
Double-Overhead-CAM Construction
Honda engines have traditionally been known for their high level of craftsmanship. The CRF300L’s engine is an excellent illustration of this. The double-overhead-cam design allows for effortless revolving, maximized efficiency, and little upkeep.
Styling CRF450R-Inspired Bodywork
Our CRF450R motocross motorcycles inspired the CRF300L’s bodywork design and aesthetics. It’s aesthetically pleasing and practical, thanks to the seamless integration of the bodywork parts, tank, and seat that makes getting around the bike a breeze.
Slim Seat Front
The CRF300L has a forward-sloping seat that makes it simpler to reach the ground while coming to a halt.
More Footroom
When wearing bulky off-road riding boots, you’ll appreciate the extra space offered by the engine and foot pegs’ relative positioning in the chassis.
Polished Black Rims
The glossy black rims look excellent and are simple to maintain.
Engineering Engine Counterbalancer
The counterbalance makes the engine operate very quietly and smoothly. You may enjoy the smoothness of a multi-cylinder motorcycle with the power and compact size of a single.
Fuel Injection
The CRF300L’s fuel injection system makes starting easy, even in freezing temperatures. It helps reduce pollutants, improves performance, and uses less gas than a bike with a carburetor.
Integrated Rear Master Cylinder
We have included the reservoir for the rear brake fluid in the design of the master cylinder. Off-road durability is improved by the design’s compactness, cleanliness, and ability to be tucked away.
Large Sidestand Foot
We designed a big foot for the CRF300L’s side stand. It may seem like an addition, but it will come in handy while going off-road or when parking in a hot asphalt lot.
Versatility Comfortable Seating Position
The brand-new long motocross-style seat allows for easy forward, left, backward, and proper movement, making it extra comfortable to travel across varied terrain.
Cargo Convenience
Bungee cords and specialized luggage hooks make it simple to strap a small load to the passenger seat. It’s one of the many thoughtful additions that make these bikes adaptable. You may store tiny, valuable objects safely in the left-side storage box.
Digital Instrumentation
The CRF300L’s digital gauge cluster has big, clear readouts. A tachometer, clock, double trip meter, and speedometer are all included.
Passenger Ready
Each CRF300L model comes with an extended seat and foldable, frame-mounted passenger footpegs so that you may bring a friend along for the ride.
Handling Front and Rear Wheels
The 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel offer you plenty of tire options for both rough off-road trails and paved roads.
Disc Brakes
The CRF300L’s front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful stopping ability and a confident feel on or off the beaten path. Anti-lock brakes (ABS) are an available extra. Bonus: The rear wheel ABS can be turned off for dirt riding and quickly turned on once you return to the pavement.
More Ground Clearance
To achieve the 11.2-inch ground clearance, the engine is positioned higher in the frame.
Inverted Fork
Large 43mm sliders may be found on the upside-down Showa® fork. That makes the CRF300L sturdy and contributes to its superb handling on and off the road.
Pro-Link Rear Suspension
The CRF300L’s single-shock Pro-Link rear suspension increases rider confidence while offering superior comfort, traction, and handling.
Strong Steel Frame
The new strong steel frame is built to last on the rough roads or off-road trails of the real world. We’ve also improved the feedback from the frame by making it stiffer.
Engine
The DOHC 4V single-cylinder engine is more powerful and is cooled by liquid.
Our expanded displacement now produces a peak power of 20.1 kW and a peak torque of 26.6 Nm, delivered instantly and crisply. The engine complies with all EURO5 standards as well.
The Assist/Slipper Clutch facilitates upshifts and controls rear-wheel ‘hop’ during heavy braking and fast downshifts, giving drivers more command in congested urban environments. It’s a must-have when driving on rough dirt roads.
Lighter Chassis with Improved Ground Clearance
With the help of a revised frame layout and a lightweight, tapered aluminum swingarm, we were able to shave off 4 kilograms from the chassis’ overall weight. A redesigned bottom yoke of forged aluminum helps you shed pounds without sacrificing stability. The entire ground clearance measures 285mm, making it more capable off-road.
Skinny, Featherweight Clothing
Free movement is essential for natural control off-road. The 7.8 L gasoline tank has been reworked to be slimmer and lighter. Combined with the reshaped seat, it facilitates a genuine shift of body weight that increases the pressure on the front tires.
Flexible Suspension Setup
Showa 43mm USD forks include a spring rate and damping optimized for street and dirt use. Pro-Link controls the single-tube, rear Showa mainshock with a 40mm cylinder.
Floating Front Disc with ABS
Braking is handled with a 256mm wavy disc clamped by a two-piston caliper. Off-road, you may turn off the back caliper of your two-channel ABS.
Comprehensive Digital Dash
A new gear position indicator joins the standard speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and clock on the cleanly designed instrument cluster.
