Redefining Iconic Design

The magnificent new look of the new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models derived from the recognized forms of earlier Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring bikes. Both variants include integrated venting fairings and LED signature illumination with integrated turn signals. A trimmed front fender, a new 6-gallon fuel tank with a distinct side angle, and saddlebags with a three-dimensional form that complements the fairings and fuel tank are other design aspects. With a black machine-cut cast-aluminum rim and laced spokes, the new Combo Cast Laced wheels create a powerful personalized statement. Each model will be available in two highly detailed finishes.

Maximum Efficiency

The new 121-cubic-inch V-Twin Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine sets a new standard for factory-installed torque and displacement in a Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycle, with optimized liquid-cooled cylinder heads, a new cooling system, and variable valve timing (VVT), a new intake tract and a performance exhaust system.

During the creation of the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models, every facet of design that may affect overall performance and comfort was thoroughly addressed. Dry weight has decreased dramatically compared to the versions they replace, by 31 pounds for the CVO Street Glide and 35 pounds for the CVO Road Glide. When compared to earlier CVO models, high-performance front and rear SHOWA suspension components support confident handling and give a major boost in rider comfort, with rear suspension travel increased by 50%. Premium Brembo brake components provide exceptional braking feel and performance for increased rider confidence.

2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Cruisers

For the first time, the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models include selectable Ride Modes (Road, Sport, and Rain) that electronically control a specific combination of power delivery, engine braking, Cornering-Antilock Braking System (C-ABS), and Cornering-Traction Control System (C-TCS).

All-new fairings with a ‘floating’ windscreen design and adjustable air-control vanes contribute to aero and thermal comfort. Subjective helmet buffeting is decreased by an average of 60% in wind tunnel tests compared to identical 2022 models. Compared to earlier CVO models, the new engine cooling system will increase thermal comfort for the rider even more.

All-New Infotainment System Skyline OS is at the heart of this application.

The CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models have a whole new suite of entertainment technologies, which the new Skyline OS drives. All analog instruments and most controls are replaced with a 12.3-inch TFT color touch screen. This premium display has three different view choices and is compatible including Apple and Android smartphones. Wi-Fi connectivity allows for wireless connection to a rider’s device, and the system has a Bluetooth receiver for cordless headphones. Both variants include larger media storage compartments and a USB-C port. A new 500-watt RMS amplifier powers a premium, high-performance Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage II four-speaker audio system.

Flow State

Every surface of the CVO Road Glide has been redesigned and improved, providing a fluid aesthetic flow from the tip of the front fender to the tail of the rear saddlebags, inspired by the rich legacy that came before it and molded by the wind tunnel.

Sharknose Fairing

With a sculpted shape, fully-integrated LED lighting, and a revised windscreen design, the legendary shark-nose fairing gets a new lease on life. The CVO Road Glide provides ideal aero performance and rider comfort with an aggressive new twist on the original design using computational fluid dynamics to boost aerodynamic efficiency.

Fuel Tank

The 6-gallon tear-drop gasoline tank on the CVO Road Glide is long and slender, with a contoured design and pronounced beveled edge.

Wheels

The CVO Road Glide has 19″ front and 18″ rear combination cast laced wheels, as well as a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Saddlebags

The saddlebags boost total baggage volume capacity and complete the aggressive posture of the CVO Road Glide. They are the last extension of the bold lines and athletic construction of the fairing and fuel tank.

Paint and Finishes

Dark Platinum with Bright Smoked Satin pin striping or two-tone Whisky Neat and Raven Metallic with airbrushed accents and pin striping are also available. Each is accented with either gloss black/chrome or burnt chrome accents for a complete package that emphasizes the new body lines and the CVO ethos of obsessive attention to detail.

12.3” TFT Display

The crystal-clear, anti-reflective surface of the 12.3″ touch-screen color TFT display replaces analog instruments. It puts navigation and entertainment at your fingertips as the newest innovation in rider interaction.

Skyline OS

The Skyline OS-powered configurable in-dash experience includes three distinct display configurations, navigation, and an all-new suite of linked infotainment functions.

Ride Modes

Ride Modes electronically manage the performance characteristics of the vehicle as well as the extent of safety technology intervention. Each of the three standards and two adjustable riding modes offers a distinct blend of power delivery, engine braking, Cornering Antilock Braking System (C-ABS), and Cornering Traction Control System (C-TCS) settings.

Premium Audio

The Rockford Fosgate Stage II premium audio system on the CVO Road Glide has a 4-channel 500-watt RMS amplifier that drives integrated fairing and saddlebag speakers.

Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 Powertrain

The Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 has liquid-cooled cylinder heads, variable valve timing (VVT), and a redesigned intake tract, making it the biggest displacement power plant factory-installed on a Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycle. The larger displacement engine generates more power and torque than the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, plus VVT broadens the entire power band and improves fuel efficiency.

Exhaust

The high-flow exhaust system, which includes 4.5″ diameter mufflers and quality finishes, compliments the engine tuning performance while improving style and sound.

Weight Reduction

The 2023 CVO Road Glide is 35 pounds lighter than its predecessor, improving acceleration and braking capabilities.

Suspension

The new inverted 47mm SHOWA forks and quality shocks with 3 inches of suspension travel improve handling and rider comfort.

Stopping Power

Dual 320mm diameter front disc brakes with radially mounted four-piston Brembo calipers and a single 300mm diameter rotor in the rear improve sensation and overall braking performance.

Rider Safety Enhancements

The system adapts motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and braking. It uses the most recent chassis control, electronic brake control, and power plant technologies to boost rider confidence when riding in difficult road conditions.

Aerodynamics

The new windscreen design, along with the revised fairing design, was developed using computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel studies to decrease wind buffeting and rider fatigue. At the same time, adjustable air vanes boost comfort by allowing you to control airflow.

Ergonomics

A premium seat with a redesigned form, wider, flatter handlebars, and adjustable levers assist in optimizing the rider triangle for more comfort and less tiredness on extended rides.

Rear Shocks

The new SHOWA remote-adjustable shocks increase travel by 50% over the previous model, considerably improving rider comfort.

Cold Weather Comfort

Heated grips and prewired connections for heated gear are included on the CVO Road Glide for cooler days.
