Engine Features
The brand new 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 Traveler Dual Sports Motorcycle 652cc single-cylinder engine now has fuel injection, which improves dependence and fuel economy. A unique multi-functional digital instrumentation panel with a fuel gauge is combined with a new fuel tank design that provides more usable space. Many pieces have been modified to improve ride confidence, reduce vibrations, and increase generator capacity while carrying luggage, all in search of a strong adventure partner to achieve the desired performance, and ride comfort is helpful.
Suspension and Wheels
Both front and rear suspension settings in the 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 Traveler have been synced with the new robust frame for a better riding feel. To meet the demands of riders, the motorcycle now has a 41mm front fork with a 200mm of suspension travel handle for suspension duties up front with added rigidity needed for ultimate performance. Additionally, firm fork springs offer greater bump compliance and bottoming resistance while decreasing front-end dive under heavy braking.
There is a brand new adjustable Uni-Trak system featuring 185mm of suspension travel that can be easily found on the rear and complements the front fork settings, giving progressive rear suspension action while adding in a low center of gravity. Firm rear shock settings help resist bottoming in rough terrain and lodge heavy loads. The rear spring preload and rebound damping adjustment enable riders to fine-tune suspension settings that suites the riding conditions. The front fork and the rear shock settings complement each other for sharp and light handling on smooth roads without offering the capability needed off-road.
