Chassis
The KLR650 motorbike significantly upgrades to the proven and high tensile semi-double-cradle frame 2022 model. A rear frame combined with the mainframe to enhance torsional stiffness for a more composite ride, as well as a 30 mm longer swing arm with a 2mm wide diameter swing arm pivot shaft, contributes to better handling.
Suspension & Wheels
The front and rear suspension settings of the redesigned frame work together to make the car feel more rooted. With 200mm suspension travel, the 41mm front forks handle the responsibilities of suspension from the front and offer the rigidity required for optimal performance, meeting the requirements of on and off-road riding. Firm fork springs offer robust collision compliance and batting resistance, as well as reduce front and dip when applying hard brakes.
At the rear, the 185mm of a travel adjustable Unitrack suspension system matches the front fork settings, offering rear suspension action while subsidizing the lower center of gravity.
Ergonomics
Naturally, the straight ride position has been adjusted, and the vibration reduced to make long-distance exploration more enjoyable.
For 2022, the KLR650 is designed to provide a pressure-free position for a long rotation. Those parts that come in contact with the rider have significantly enhanced vibration reduction, which has increased the comfort of long rides.
The handlebars and foot pieces are designed to be flexible, and the rider is placed in a more comfortable posture to spend more hours in the saddle. Rubber stands have been added to the handlebar and footpegs, reducing vibration and improving comfort. The KLR650 chassis now boasts a newly designed fuel tank design that naturally fits the rider’s knees for greater comfort and control. While the volume of the new gasoline tank is the same as the old one, the usable amount has been redesigned and increased thanks to a new fuel pump that pulls just below the tank, extending the cruising range.

The sturdy shape of the 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure Motorcycle symbolizes the motorcycle’s ability to take you on a memorable journey. New colors and textured graphics were used to show the roughness of the product. The design of the shroud equipped with a protector contributes to the valuable and robust appearance, while the new design of the side cover and the tail cowl complete the powerful style package. The windscreen not only improves air safety but also contributes to some of the adventure tour styles that Kawasaki engineers intended with the KLR650.
