2023 BMW R18 Classic Heritage Bike is a cutting-edge cruiser with a touch of retro style. That looks like one of the earliest touring-ready BMW cruisers. It also conjures up classic images from motorcycling’s past.
We used the largest displacement boxer engine we’ve ever made as the beating heart of this thing. It’s made for leisurely sightseeing and unadulterated fun. History, which has been steadily expanded upon, is, in a word, #SoulFuel.

Experience the Engine of The R 18 Classic
The engine responds instantly at low RPMs and high torque: 2023 BMW R18 Classic Heritage Bike’s 1802 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine is the biggest one we’ve ever made. A motor that performs visually, aurally, and hectically.
Its peak torque of 116 lb-ft is available at 3,000 rpm. It produces over 100 lb-ft of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm, giving it the classic boxer operating characteristics. The Big Boxer generates 91 horsepower at 4,750 rpm.
