The 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC Gold Line Motorcycle is the XC, with its soft suspension and unrivaled, all-road, all-day performance and comfort, and the XE, the world’s first real dual-purpose contemporary classic explorer, with a class-leading level of performance and equipment.
There is a High Power 1200cc Bonneville twin engine at the heart of both models, with cutting-edge features designed with riders in mind and meticulous attention to detail.
Scrambler 1200 XC Gold Line Editions are available in a sleek color scheme of Carnival Red and Storm Grey, with a hand-painted gold line running across an Aluminum Silver tank stripe and the understated characteristic ‘gold line’ insignia. It’s worth noting that the images on the knee pads are brushed foil with a hand-painted gold border. Standard Jet Black coats the headlight bowl and the side panel.
The 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC Gold Line Motorcycle is an eye-catching color scheme that combines Baja Orange and Silver Ice for the tank with a Pure White stripe and a hand-painted gold line for the accents. Jet Black is used for the side panel and headlight bowl, while the brushed foil patterns on the knee pads are bordered in gold, much like the XC version.
Eight bikes from Triumph’s acclaimed Modern Classic line have been given a one-of-a-kind look and quality hand-painted detail thanks to the new Bonneville Gold Line Editions, which feature hand-painted gold lining and reflect consumer desire for brighter and more custom-inspired schemes.

Each of the eight new Bonneville Gold Line Editions is based on the latest generation model and has a distinctive and beautiful hand-painted ‘gold line’ color scheme after the sell-out success of the Street Twin Gold Line Edition earlier in 2021.
These new Gold Line Editions are premium, coveted, and unique. They are only available in the market for a limited time, demonstrating the quality and attention to detail for which Triumph is known.
2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC Gold Line Motorcycle – Features and Specs
The Art of Gold Lining
Triumph’s paint studio is renowned for its hand-painted gold lining, a process that requires utmost care, years of practice, and the steadiest of hands.
Many of the latest Gold Line Edition patterns are built on a foundation of two colors, with the transition between them smoothed down. Finally, the artist applies the gold line by hand, using a highly specialized soft-bristled sword-liner brush, often in a single, continuous stroke. After applying the pinstripe, it is protected from the outdoors with a final layer of clear lacquer.
Regular automotive paint is too thin to brushwork. Thus, the dyes used for the gold lining are created explicitly by blending a powerful color with a cellulose lacquer.
Each Gold Line Edition, like every hand-lined Triumph, is finished with the artist’s initials, adding a touch of individuality that sets it apart.
