2022 Triumph Street Twin EC1 Special Edition Bike – Features and Specs
Unique EC1 paint scheme and premium custom-style detailing
Featuring the instantly identifiable Triumph logo, updated EC1 graphics, and a softly hand-painted silver coach lining, the all-new Matt Aluminum Silver and Matt Silver Ice fuel tanks are gorgeous.
Matt Aluminum Silver is used for both the front and rear mudguards, while Matt Silver Ice is used for the side panels, which also feature the new Street Twin Limited Edition design.
Including a fly screen in Matt Silver Ice is a stylish touch that works well with the EC1 aesthetic.
The silver exterior of the EC1 Special Edition is offset wonderfully by the black 10-spoke wheels, black headlamp bowl, black finishing mirrors, and black signature-shaped engine covers.
Front and rear turn signals, a comfortable bench seat, and a modern LED taillight give the EC1 a neat appearance.
Thrilling high torque 900cc twin engine
The latest 900cc high torque Bonneville twin engine is standard on the Street Twin EC1, along with all the power, personality, and responsiveness that go along with it.
This fuel-efficient engine produces 64 horsepower at 7,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 59 pound-feet of torque at only 3,800 RPM, providing excellent acceleration at low and high RPM.
The EC1 also has signature twin upswept silencers immediately recognized as part of the distinctively lush British Twin sound.
Comfortable, intuitive, Easy handling
The Street Twin EC1 Special Edition provides a fun and relaxed ride thanks to the high-quality equipment that comes standard. The twin rear shocks are adjustable for preload, and the powerful 4-piston Brembo front brake provides excellent stopping power and feel.
Pirelli Phantom Sports Comp tires are a great choice due to their high performance and durability.
With its high-quality components, the Street Twin’s confident ergonomics match perfectly. Because of its accommodating 30-inch seat height, the EC1 Special Edition suits riders of varying sizes and abilities.
Advanced Rider-Focused Technology
In addition to included anti-lock brakes and selectable traction control, the Street Twin EC1 also comes with two of the best riding modes available. If the Street Twin loses traction due to a poor road surface or other conditions, these settings determine how much torque and how quickly the throttle will respond. They make adjustments to the throttle response and traction control.
The Street Twin’s torque-assist clutch makes riding in crowded places much less hassle, making it easier to relax and enjoy.
The clocks combine a classic speedometer with a digital rev counter and menu system. On-the-go menu navigation is more accessible with a scroll button on the handlebar. The Street Twin has an under-seat USB charger and an immobilizer key.
Built to Personalize
More than 80% of Street Twins have genuine Triumph parts installed, proving that the motorcycle has played a role in the growing trend for customization among consumers since its debut in 2015.
More than 120 official Triumph add-ons are now available, and the EC1 Special Edition now has its own Matt Silver Ice fly screen. It complements the EC1 aesthetic wonderfully and finishes off the customized classic look.
The available accessories range from cosmetic touches to options that boost security, comfort, and practicality, such as luggage for extended trips, depending on the individual’s needs.
All genuine Triumph accessories are designed in collaboration with the motorcycle and undergo the same rigorous testing for quality and durability. The two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty is standard across the board.
