2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition Sports Motorcycle – Features and Specs

Riding Modes: Sport, Rain, Road, Rider (Manual)

Riders can easily adjust traction control and power delivery so that all-inclusive modes that combine S-KTRC and power mode adapt to ride conditions. Riders can choose a sport, rain, road, or manual rider. Each system can be easily set freely in manual rider mode.

Sports: Enable riders to enjoy circuit riding and sporty back road rides. The “road” riding mode refers to various conditions, from city rides to highway crossings and rural roads. When riding on low traction surfaces, the rain reassures the rider. The riding mode can be easily changed by pressing a button on the left handlebar.

Electronic Cruise Control

With the push of a button, Kawasaki’s cruise control system can maintain a certain speed. Once activated, the rider will not need to constantly apply the throttle, reducing the pressure on the right hand while traveling long distances, allowing for easy travel and contributing to the high pleasure of the ride.

Electronic cruise control is operated from the left handlebar, which is very convenient. The system can be activated at the push of a button. Once the desired speed is determined, the engine output is automatically regulated by electronic throttle valves to maintain the momentum. Using the “+” and “-” buttons, you can change the set speed.

Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) (KP)

IMU estimates inertia with five axes: longitude, transition, Roll rate; vertical velocity; and pitch rate. ECU calculates Yao’s rate including Kawasaki’s unique software to provide lean angle and acceleration/deletion force of the six-axis chassis for more accurate electronic riding ad management.

The S-KTRC uses a lot of feedback from IMU to help improve speed as you exit the course. The new launch control system on the Kawasaki ZX-10R is state-of-the-art, thanks to IMU data. IMU on cars equipped with KIBS enables the corner management function.

Kawasaki Engine Brake Control

Riders can choose how many engine brakes they want to apply with the help of the latest KEBC system. When KEBC is engaged (by selecting “LIGHT” in KEBC’s options), the effect of engine braking for accessible turn entrances on the track is reduced.

Power Mode

Riders can easily choose from three different power levels: Full Power Operation on Mid Power – Depending on the throttle position; it can operate differently. Low Power – Only 50-60% of total power is available. S-KTRC is not required for this to work.

Corner Management Function

The riders of the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition Sports Motorcycle can choose how many engine brakes they want with the KEBC system. When KEBC is enabled (by selecting “LIGHT” in KEBC’s options), the effect of engine braking for smooth turn entrances on the track is compact.

Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) (KP)

Riders can choose from three unique power levels: Full Power Operation on Mid Power – Depending on the throttle position, and it can operate differently. Low Power – Only 50-60% of total power is available. S-KTRC is not required for this to work.

Electronic Steering Damper (ESD)

The etching is according to the size of the chassis and the handling characteristics of the track. The electronically controlled steering damping features are adjusted in response to vehicle speed and speed or slowness. Damping settings were chosen at low rates so as not to interfere with the lightweight handling of the motorcycle.

At high speeds on the track, damping increases to help riders get on the line of their choice. The ECU of the electronic steering damper detects the speed of the vehicle as well as the speed at which the motorcycle is accelerating or slowing down.

Revised Ergonomics

The position of the new clip-on handlebar is 10 mm forward and at right angles, resulting in a more circuit-based place. The rider has a more excellent range of movement with more space between the handlebar and the seat, which is beneficial for both track and street riding.

The windscreen is 40 mm high and is mounted at a sharp angle, which, when combined with a large upper cowl, improves the aerodynamic performance of the machine-mounted package. Increased windshield reduces the blast pressure of the wind, allowing riders to change positions more quickly as they prepare to enter a corner on the race track.

Aerodynamic Styling

The cowl at the top is designed primarily to interact with the larger windshield so that the air drag can be cut too much and donated to the basic shape of a race bike while preserving a specific ninja character.
