The 2022 Ducati XDiavel Dark Sports Motorcycle’s central matte black Hugh highlights the beauty of the Ducati Cruiser’s shape. An attractive Ducati “Reduce to the Max” design approach has been strengthened by applying total black leverage on mechanics and finishes on the XDiavel Dark. The 2022 XDiavel Dark, which serves as the gateway to the Ducati XDiavel universe, demonstrates its simplicity and essence.
2022 Ducati XDiavel Dark Sports Motorcycle – Features and Specs
Testastretta DVT 1262
The heart of the XDiavel, the Testastretta DVT 1262 twin-cylinder engine, produces a maximum of 152 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a maximum of 92.9 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm.
Torque Always Available
At 2,100 rpm, 80% of XDiavel’s torque is available almost immediately. You can accelerate your speed by slightly expanding the throttle without changing gears, as you would expect from a cruiser. Instead, a torque peak of 92.9 lb-ft is achieved at 5,000 rpm, which is quite low for a Ducati twin-cylinder engine. The wheel produces 152 horsepower when the Rio counter pointer reaches 9,500 rpm if you want the most.
Ducati Power Launch
The Ducati Power Launch allows XDiavel’s spirit to be fully realized. Bosch IMU, which controls the gas, enables the system to ensure a fast and safe start.
Ride-by-Wire
Depending on the selected riding mode, the optimal power level can be customized using the Ride by Wire system, which acts as an electronic link between the engine and the XDiavel’s fuel grip.
Belt Transmission
The Belt Final is the first Ducati XDiavel to use the drive. This system, a necessity in the cruiser industry, was developed by Ducati experts for XDiavel to ensure the safe and reliable transmission of electricity generated by the Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262.
Brembo Braking System
The Bosch 9.1ME Brembo braking system with ABS cornering is standard on the XDiavel. The Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) platform is used to improve the braking performance of the front and rear wheels through ABS turning, both in emergencies and during cornering.
Adjustable Suspension
XDiavel Adjustable suspensions ensure exceptional comfort even over long distances and ideal fast-riding control.
Tires and Wheels
The wheel measures 3.5 inches x 17 inches at the front and 8 inches x 17 inches at the rear. Massive rear tires use improved patch technology to exploit the contact area at any lean angle and double compound to ensure high mileage performance while increasing grip during extremely intense cornering. Uses technology. The best performance in all conditions is provided by the walking design and materials used, especially in the rain.
