Slim Chassis Design
The rider’s legs do not have a cylinder like the traditional V-twin cruiser; the Vulcan S’s parallel-twin engine allows for a shorter distance between the rider’s legs. A slim, spine-shaped rear frame facilitates easy access to the ground.
Engine
The engine configuration gives the cruiser a different look than an average cruiser. The new cylinder head can be compared to the brand-new Finn air-cooled pins that give it an aggressive shape. The slim radiator design fits the form of a cruiser. The outstanding design of the Vulcan S is enhanced by the beautiful twist of the exhaust pipes and the under-engine muffler system.
Digital Fuel Injection (KP)
Fuel injection settings contribute to the quick recovery of the engine by offering a smooth low-end response.
Sub-throttle valves (KP) are used in dual 38mm Keihin throttle bodies for greater power output and smooth, sensitive throttle response. The ECU controls the sub-throttle, located behind the main throttle valves, to ensure a smooth throttle response in the EFI system.
Emissions are significantly reduced when the exact fuel injection is combined with the exhaust catalyzer.
Frame
Due to the small engine, a slim, minimal frame can be used, resulting in a tight design at the knees and ankles. The frame’s rigidity was improved using 3D analysis, resulting in better handling features. For strength and lightness, it is made of high-tensile steel.
Due to the design of the offset single-shock rear suspension, the battery can be placed side by side instead of under the shock. This attractive design allows for low seat height and slim shape.
Suspension
Ride comfort is preferred in both front and rear suspension settings.
Offset Le Down Single Shock Rear Suspension allows for a longer stroke and better riding comfort.
The compact shape of the motorcycle is supported by the rear suspension configuration, which provides space for a large volume silencer under the engine.
Styling Elements
A unique, eye-catching design with a robust, long and low posture and modern features combined with a curved, flowing shape. The new, original design of the Vulcan S includes an inverted triangle headlamp. The center of the tapered handlebar is thick, which contributes to the muscular appearance of the handlebar. The petrol tank is designed in the form of a teardrop, which makes it feel like a cruiser.
