Advanced Electronic Riding Aids
Kawasaki’s state-of-the-art electronics have always performed brilliantly because of the sophisticated programming that gives the ECU an accurate real-time image of what the chassis is doing with minimal software.
Versys® 1000 SE LT + Electronic Management Technology on Motorcycles incorporates the latest iteration of Bosch IMU and Kawasaki’s unique dynamic modeling software so riders can enjoy the ride with increasing confidence.
Corner Management Function
The Corner Management Function uses KIBS and KTRC to help riders maintain their planned route from one corner to the other, reducing the tendency for the bike to rise when applying the brakes. The same basic system is used on Ninja H2TM and Ninja® ZXTM-10R motorcycles, with better program settings to fit the performance parameters of the Versys® 1000 SE LT +. SuperSport style high accuracy system with smooth feedback for extra breaking confidence.
Kawasaki Traction Control System (KTRC) (KP)
The 3-mode system adapts to various riding conditions, provides better sports riding or rider confidence, and allows smoother riding on vibrant surfaces.
Modes 1 and 2 adjust the ignition timing, such as the Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC), which uses advanced analytics to predict when traction conditions deteriorate and wheel slippage is high. Intervenes before the traction limit exceeds. Mode 3 adjusts ignition timing, fuel and air for extremely smooth operation and has high sensitivity. The rider can turn off the system by switching on the left-handle bar switch housing.
Power Mode
Allows riders to customize power features according to their riding style and conditions. Riders have the option to operate at full power or low power, which is about 75% of total control with mild throttle response.
Sports, road, rain, and riding are all integrated modes of riding (manual). All mixed methods, which combine KTRC, Power Mode, and KECS, allow riders to quickly adjust the power delivery, traction control, and suspension character to suit specific ride conditions. Riders can choose between three modes (sport, road, and rain) or manual mode (rider). Each system can be set freely in manual rider mode.
Electronic Cruise Control
It allows the rider to maintain the desired speed by pressing the button, eliminating the need to regulate the throttle constantly. When traveling long distances, it relieves tension on the right hand, which makes it easier to travel and enjoy a higher level of pleasure. When experiencing rising or falling degrees, engine power is automatically adjusted by electronic throttle valves to maintain proper speed. The “+” and “-” buttons can change the speed.
Exhaust System
Large connector pipes connect exhaust headers 1-4 and 2-3, which reduce exhaust resistance and allow optimal flow and performance at all RPMs. In the exhaust collector, the three-way catalyst ensures that the emission principles are met without losing performance.
Sporty, compact muffler improves aesthetics. By allowing smaller volume silencers, the under-engine pre-chamber increases the more concentrated mass. Single-side mufflers are lighter than twin mufflers.
Assist & Slipper Clutch (KP)
The clutch hub and pressure plate are pressed together during acceleration (Assist function) using the rotating forces, which allows the use of low and light clutch springs for a soft feeling on the lever. The sleeper function allows some clutches to slip under high back-torque conditions, such as when very few gears are selected during downshifting, to help the engine prevent lockup, stalling and rear wheel hop. When the clutch is removed, the Joder Spring component helps to stop the Joder.
