The performance of the Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike has significantly increased in the 2021 model, which improves track riding for both professionals and beginners. Numerous improvements make the ride more accessible, more user-friendly, and less taxing while speeding up the bike during full-time sessions. Aeropacks increase confidence by increasing airflow protection and overall vehicle stability. Instead, the front frame changes stiffness to improve the front end “feel” at higher lean degrees.
Engineers from Ducati and Ducati Corse analyzed the Superbike Globe Championship competitions and comments and data from users worldwide. Many improvements have been made to aerodynamics, chassis, electrical controls, and ride-by-wire mapping due to their analysis: these modifications increase stability and turn speed, make turning more accessible, and guarantee that riders are safer—throttle control.
Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike – Features and Price
Ducati Corse Aero Fairing
Ducati Corse and the well-known Ducati Style Center have jointly created the aerodynamics package for the Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike. It now resembles the 2021 Panigale V4 R. The final product is Fairing, which in full Panigale fashion, fully complies with all the features of the Ducati Superbike.
A complete wind tunnel model was improved after a series of initial CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) investigations, as in MotoGP.
Desmo: Combining past and present
The desmodromic system, a feature that makes the Ducati the fastest prototype of the premier racing class in motorcycle racing, is the basis of the new engine. The “Desmo” reaches its highest technical value with its high-spin engine, providing complexity, compactness and lightness that has never been seen before on the Ducati.
Counter-rotating Crankshaft
The crankshaft spins in the same direction as the tires of road bikes. On the other hand, the new counter-rotating crankshaft that revolves in the opposite direction is often used in MotoGP. Desmosedici Stradale has used this technical method to enhance the agility and direction-shifting accuracy of the motorcycles to eliminate some of the gyroscopic effects created by the wheels. Wheel curvature is reduced by inertia due to the torque of the counter-rotating crankshaft, which reduces the front end during high speeds and the rear end during braking.
Changes in 2021
The Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike chassis has undergone significant changes with the addition of a front frame. The latter, tailored to the needs of the Ducati Corse, has a unique suspension setup with a superior berry center, more chain pull angle, and better use of suspension travel. With these adjustments, it is easier to turn the bike when you release the brakes, reach the peak faster, absorb bumps and waves better, and respond more evenly when coming out of the corner.
Using Ducati riding mode
Users have access to three pre-set ride modes through Riding Modes, allowing the performance of the new Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike to be adjusted according to the rider, track, or route features and weather. Engine features, electronic control settings, and, on the new “S” version, suspension setups change instantly when the ride modes are changed. Naturally, riders can adjust the parameters to fit their riding style and reset the Ducati to factory defaults.
Ride in race mode.
Race RM, as its name suggests, was designed for skilled riders who want to maximize the capabilities of the brand-new Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike on high-grip race tracks. If the rider chooses the race, they can expect 214 horsepower, quick ride-by-wire throttle response, and, on the new “S” variant, a particularly tough suspension setup to enhance performance. The electronics are set to the minimum interference level without compromising safety in race mode. To improve braking performance, ABS is only active on the front wheel, although the cornering function is permanently active.
Pedestrian mode
When riding the Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike on the road and in city traffic, Street Riding Mode is recommended. The motorcycle features a new suspension setup suited for rough or bumpy roads. It provides the rider with 214 hp and better ride-by-wire throttle response, such as Sport Riding. To enhance overall safety, electronic control settings offer stability and grip.
Engine
For MY21, the 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 and Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike maintain their maximum power and torque levels following Euro 5 (only for markets where Euro-5 is applicable). Many advances have been made in an all-new Desmosedici Stradale exhaust line and engine adjustment to meet the strict European limit for harmful emissions.
The silencer uses significant catalysts (+10mm in length) and a new method of refining noble metals, which are essential for improving the ability to convert harmful gases. However, it retains its beautifully seductive shape.
The overall length and size of the main exhaust pipes at the rear section have been adjusted to decrease the catalyst “light off” while preserving engine performance. Compared to the Euro-4 variants, the length of the prior bank has been reduced to 100mm and the diameter has been reduced from 42mm to 38mm. All-new components make it suitable for a small rear hat shield in the structure of the motorcycle.
Electronics
The 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 and Ducati 2021 Panigale V4S Sports Bike range come with a better strategy derived from the Ducati Corse, further improving Ducati traction control. It interferes with the mid-corner throttle reopening phase.
Manageable
The new tactic is part of an ongoing effort to reduce lap time through interventions that make the ride more natural, less taxing, and, therefore, more efficient on the track.
When you move the throttle to a corner to get out of it, it is common for the rear wheel to slip unintentionally and unexpectedly at the end of the “drive line” clearance recovery phase due to the acceleration peak of the crankshaft. That’s it. It upsets the rider as he reopens the accelerator.
