Engine
The fuel-cooled, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine produces a pleasurable dispersion of power over the rpm range, similar to the enduro racer. Thanks to cam profiles from Kawasaki’s 2020 KLX300R play bike, it responds crisply to every turn of throttle, complementing its robust and rider-friendly low-mid-range.
High-Performance Engine: 292CC
Chassis
Low in the frame, the 292cc engine (bore x stroke 78.0 x 61.2 mm) contributes to the low center of gravity. Optimized ignition timing produces a powerful but easy-to-use power delivery at low and mid-range RPMs that easily transfers to the tremendous top end.
The KLX300’s superior off-road performance comes from its endo-racer-based frame and chassis components. However, whether on-road or off-road, the lightweight package provides exceptional tact and control.
Frame with lightweight perimeter
The structure of the circle, which is made of a box and tubular parts made of high-tensile steel, is thin and light. Lightweight, robust aluminum D-section swing arm helps reduce uninterrupted weight.
Suspension adjustable
Unitrack rear suspension with adjustable damping and pre-load works with the 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork to provide smooth handling for on and off-road rides.
Styling
The sharpness of the KLX300 will change your head whether you are riding in the city or on a dirt road.
Headlight with character
The original headlight enhances the aggressive appearance.
