Engine Features

The robust 722cc, DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine is optimized to produce excellent peak power and low-to-mid-range solid torque.

The piston oil jet system receives a strong flow of cooling oil from the engine’s high-capacity oil pump, which helps increase engine longevity.

For a low center of gravity, the cylinder and head are canted forward, which lowers the seat height and lowers the engine height. Water and dirt are avoided by using high mount air.

The four-valve cylinder head features straight ports and wide 36mm intake valves for excellent cylinder charging performance. A smaller cylinder head is produced by a chain and gear camshaft drive arrangement inspired by sportbikes.

Using an SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material) coating, the lightweight aluminum cylinder achieves exceptional combustion chamber efficiency with excellent heat transmission and ring sealing.

The engine also uses dual balance shafts for smooth operation.

Advanced Suzuki fuel injection provides consistent power throughout the rpm range while offering excellent throttle response and fuel efficiency. Additionally, it enhances engine starting in all conditions.

The KingQuad quickly complies with US emissions regulations, even for vehicles sold in California that follow that state’s stricter evaporative emissions requirement.

Stable engine operating temperature is offered by a high-capacity aluminum radiator with a large diameter, thermostatically regulated cooling fan.

Transmission Features

Thanks to a fender-mounted gate-type shifter for high/low range option, QuadMaticTM CVT type automatic gearbox offers flexibility and simplicity. Its advanced engine-braking technology reduces freewheeling when under throttle and helps maintain vehicle control on steep descents.

Using carefully selected CVT spring and weight calibration, the engine’s performance is matched by the chassis’ superior capability, providing smooth and powerful acceleration from a standstill.

The CVT offers tune-regulated engine braking to enhance ride comfort and confidence when riding downhill.

Compact limited-slip front differentials, including torque sensors, provide strong traction and light steering. An effective 4WD traction system is a differential lock.

Handlebar-mounted push-button controls make switching between 2WD, 4WD, and differential-lock 4WD easy. When removing dirt, there is an override button on the left handlebar that can be used to bypass the standard speed limit.

Chassis Features

The King Quad’s chassis features thick-walled tubes and reinforced brackets at strategic locations to improve rider comfort, making the ATV easier to maneuver over terrain and increasing towing capacity.

For minimal effort and tight turns in confined spaces, the base steering characteristics are set to an “understeer” position. It enables an impressive use of handlebars that are longer and more comfortable.

The KingQuad’s advanced electric power steering technology is more capable than its predecessor, resulting in significantly less steering effort while reducing vibration and shock to the rider.

High-clearance fenders on striking, angular bodywork offer excellent protection to the rider from flying objects. The body panels were designed to facilitate maintenance tasks, such as checking the oil level and changing the fuel and air filters.

With 6.7 inches of new wheel travel, the independent double A-arm front suspension features large-diameter gas-charged shock absorbers with five-way spring preload adjustment.

The new rear suspension is fully independent and A-arm/I-beam, with 7.7 inches of wheel travel and large-diameter, gas-charged shock absorbers with five-way spring preload adjustment.

Wide-diameter rear stabilizer bars and compliant bushings help regulate body motion while absorbing shock for the rider.

For optimal braking performance, twin hydraulic front disc brakes combine high-friction brake pad material, fluid lines, and lever ratio.

The footbrake lever ratio of the sealed, multi-plate rear brake system gives the rider excellent control—the clutch-type construction of the rear brake results in exceptional durability, lightweight, and low maintenance.

25-inch diameter Carlisle tires are mounted on reinforced steel wheels with a matte black powder-coated finish.

Suzuki’s T-shaped comfortable seat moves the rider while tackling challenging terrain or spirited riding.

On rocks and uneven terrain, polyethylene skid plates protect with little resistance. Solid plastic shields protect the front and rear half shafts.

Utility / Convenience Features

A 35-watt handlebar-mounted lamp illuminates the path you are guiding the ATV. The KingQuad’s unique design features dual 35-watt headlights with high and low settings.

The ATV is more visible in low-light conditions while still using less power, thanks to its powerful and low-draw LED taillight.

Along with the King Quad’s sizeable towing capacity, the receiver-style trailer hatch installation makes it easy to choose the type of cargo you want to haul (up to 1322 pounds).

Winch installation is simplified by wire conduit and mounts that are winch ready.

The multi-function instrument panel now has better visual appeal and offers service reminders based on mileage or operating time. Instrumentation includes LCD readouts for fuel level, driving range, clock, dual trip meters, hour meter, and drive mode. For high, low, neutral, reverse, 2WD/4WD, and differential-locked 4WD, there are LED indicators. There are also LED warnings for fuel injection and engine temperature.

An 18-amp maintenance-free battery draws power from a high-output, three-phase charging system, providing enough power for simple starting and equipment use. Standard is a sealed 12V auxiliary outlet.

The giant fuel tank, which holds 4.6 gallons (17.5 L), is replaced by a low center of gravity. It has a filler cap with a ratchet design and a vacuum-operated petcock (which prevents overtightening so it can be easily opened for refilling).

The ATV has plenty of storage space thanks to the addition of a sizeable 4.0-liter storage box in the front-rear center of the existing 4.0-liter left-side container. 2.8-liter water resistant front storage space with a screw-on cover, which is easy to open.

Rigid, steel tube front and rear cargo racks have wrinkle paint finish for durability and scratch resistance.

New, high-impact carrier coverings for cargo racks protect cargo from chafing while enhancing the quad’s appearance. The cover is easy to remove, so Suzuki accessories or other equipment can be mounted directly on the cargo rack.

Offers complete floor protection with built-in elevated footpegs.

Winches, windshields, front and rear bumpers, quick-release snow plows, metal skid pans, rack extensions, utility boxes, and other Suzuki Genuine Accessories are among the many options available.
