Due to its primary matte black color, the Ducati XDiavel Dark 2021 Naked Sports Bike highlights the beauty of the cruiser’s shape. Ducati has a long association with Matt Blake. Ducati has updated the XDiavel series for 2021 with the addition of XDiavel Dark and XDiavel Black Star.
Due to the reputation of matte black color, Ducati XDiavel Dark 2021 Naked Sports Bike highlights the beauty of the cruiser’s design. The Ducati Monster 600 Dark, the first bike model to play with this paint, was introduced by the Ducati from Bologna to Matt Blake in 1998, beginning a relationship that continued for over twenty years. The Ducati “Reduce to the Max” design approach has been reinforced on the Ducati XDiavel Dark with full black levers on mechanical parts, plates and finishes. XDiavel Dark means simplicity, vitality, and entry into the XDiavel universe.
With levers and accessories from the world of sports cars, the new XDiavel Black Star Edition introduces the athletic aspect of the Ducati Cruiser. The dedicated lever replaces matte black and gray with red accents, just like the natural. Pieces of color are separated and interconnected, reflecting a family-specific X design.
Forged rims, fully machined and painted glossy black, are the hallmarks of the XDiavel Black Star. They improve the bike’s appearance and make it lighter, resulting in a weight loss of about 2 kg. The front of the motorcycle has 3.5 “x 17” wheels and the rear has 8 “x 17” wheels. To improve performance in wet conditions, a traditional 120/70 ZR17 tire is fitted to the front wheel with a revised tread. A 240/45 ZR17 rear tire is used and included with the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tire motorcycle.
Ergonomics
With its shallow seat and modern footpaths, the new Ducati XDiavel Dark 2021 Naked Sports Bike offers a more excellent comfortable riding position. All riders can adjust the motorcycle according to their riding style and body type, thanks to which there is a wide range of riding situations and accessories available.
Enjoy the ride
On the first corner, you can tell that this is a Ducati because of its tilt, its technical features, its state-of-the-art electronic package, and its superior performance, which ensures an unforgettable riding experience. On the other hand, the new XDiavel’s wide handlebar and advanced footpaths provide riding ergonomics that enable you to ride comfortably and comfortably at any speed.
Engine
The Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 twin-cylinder engine conforms to Euro 5 for the full lineup of XDiavel 2021 in any of the nations that accept this specification. An improved silencer arrangement has been used, with a new design that further enhances the aesthetics of the bike and the new engine calibration, in line with current European emissions standards. As a result, the XDiavel produces 160 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.23 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm, an increase of 8 horsepower and 1.44 lb-ft compared to the Euro 4 version.
Luggage
The XDiavel is equipped with several features as standard, including a complete LED lighting system, a Bosch inertial platform (IMU), Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and ABS cornering, and a Ducati Power Launch.
DVT 1262 TestStreeta
The Testastretta DVT 1262 twin-cylinder engine, which meets the new European emission standards, is undoubtedly the star of XDiave. Including a unique engine calibration and upgraded and brand new silencer layout. As a result, the XDiavel produces 160 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.23 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm, an increase of 8 horsepower and 1.44 lb-ft compared to the Euro 4 version.
5,000 rpm
At 2,100 rpm, the XDiavel delivers almost 80% of its maximum torque instantly. You can increase your speed by slightly expanding the throttle without changing gears, as you would expect from a cruiser. Instead, at 5,000 rpm, a slow enough momentum for a Ducati twin-cylinder engine, it reaches a torque peak of 7.23 lb-ft. The XDiavel can produce 160 horsepower at 9,500 revolutions per minute (rpm) if you wish.
Power launch by Ducati (DPL)
The Ducati Power Launch allows XDiavel’s “Dragster” spirit to manifest itself (DPL) fully. Thanks to Bosch IMU, which controls gas and intervenes in DTC based on selected settings, this system can ensure a quick and safe start.
Ride by wire
The Ride by Wire (RbW) system, an electrical interface between the engine and the fuel grip on the devil, enables the ideal power level setting according to the selected riding mode.
Transmission belt
The Belt Final is the first Ducati XDiavel to use the drive.
Advance foot
XDiavel’s designers and engineers began their work with a simple idea: a comfortable riding position, similar to a cruiser, with a lower seat and front footprints.
Flexible suspension
The XDiavel’s 50 mm diameter front fork has black anodized sheets, and the compression and extension of the hydraulic brakes, as well as the spring pre-load, can all be fully customized (the S version also has a trunk with DLC coating)Û”
The highly sophisticated Ducati Traction Control (DTC) technology acts as a “filter” between the rider’s right hand and the rear wheel.
Complete LED lighting system equipped with DRL
A prominent front-facing headlight with daytime running light appears on the XDiavel S (in countries where it is permitted).
