The Ninja® ZXTM-6R is packed with high-tech features, including 3-mode KTRC traction control and power mode selection, allowing a large spectrum of riders to experience serious performance on track or road sports. ۔ Due to its MSRP, it is also the best value in the mid-size sports bike class.
The 2020 Ninja ZX-6R brings the thrill of race-race supersport engines to the road. While most supersport engines are designed for high rpm performance, the new Ninja ZX-6R delivers explosive power in the low to medium range.
This improved performance and the power immediately available at all rpm resulted in a dramatic improvement in engine response when riding on the road, such as in stopping and going through traffic, passing other vehicles, or turning roads. The Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), which allows clutch lace-up shifts, is now standardized, with earlier advanced riding support technologies such as 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Power Mode Selection, and Kawasaki Intelligent Braking System (KIBS).
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2020 Sports Bike – Features and Price
Unique Key Features
- Selectable power modes combined with Kawasaki traction control (KTRC) and class-leading show suspension.
- Advanced Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) for quick performance power mode allows quick adjustment for rider preferences and conditions.
- The intelligent anti-lock brake system from Kawasaki (KIBS) is available for the best ride on the fork road and track, separate from Big Piston’s show.
Engine
Engine: 636cc low friction ultra-compact
At all RPMs, the long-stroke engine performs better than 600-class engines, especially in the low to mid-range, for the best ride on city roads.
To prevent friction from returning to power, all internal elements are designed to be strong but small with excellent dimensional accuracy.
A small, rigid engine produces close cylinder pitch and compact crankcases. This small engine also helps maintain an overall slim and compact chassis.
For high speed, the short skirt’s fake piston, light piston pin, and a compact connecting rod help reduce the small end-shifting weight.
Mass decentralization
The engine’s center of gravity is ideal because of the tri-access crankshaft and the transmission shaft configuration. It helps the rider to get more chassis input by reducing the pitching movement when applying the brakes. The pressure on the suspension and tires is reduced by decreasing the forwarding / backward weight transfer, giving you more flexibility when adjusting the suspension settings.
The exhaust pre-chamber at the bottom of the engine helps distribute the mass and allows a smaller, lighter muffler.
Join Ram Air (KP)
A high-volume airbox aids in increased peak power and smooth power transmission. Long intake funnels help improve low to mid-range performance and strength. To minimize the bracket and reduce the weight, the RAM air duct is rigid and supports the tool panel, and the mirror stays. The central ram-air duct directs the air to the airbox in a straight channel, reducing turbulence and increasing pressure for maximum utilization efficiency.
Fuel injection through the computer (KP)
For better throttle response, longer throttle bodies increase the distance between the primary and sub-throttle valves.
Keihin throttle bodies with dual throttle valves (KP) are 38mm in diameter and are capable of excellent performance and riding. The ECU controls the sub-throttle in the throttle bore before the central throttle valves, giving the DFI system a more accurate throttle response, similar to a constant speed carburetor.
The amount of fine atomizing fuel injectors has been increased, and the spray pattern has been changed to improve mixing with air for increased displacement.
The fuel heat at the bottom of the pump is prevented by the flat bottom design of the small fuel pump. More excellent gasoline burns more efficiently.
Exhaust in stainless steel
The joint pipe connects the four stainless steel header pipes to the maximum low to medium range torque.
The exhaust system helps to maximize low and medium-range power without sacrificing top-end performance. A pre-chamber under the engine helps distribute weight, reduce exhaust noise and reduce muffler capacity.
A single right-sided muffler helps mass centralization by reducing the total center of gravity.
The triangular shape allows for an excellent lean angle and compact appearance, meeting the noise guidelines.
The ECU uses rpm, throttle position, and gear position to control the butterfly valve near the muffler entrance to improve low closing response and smooth overall power.
Cassette Shipping
Significantly lower engine power than the last drive.
The short first gear ratio makes it easy to avoid the stop.
The 6-speed close-ratio transmission can be removed as a cassette, which can cause rapid gear changes.
The gear position sensor is also connected to the dash, which provides the rider with real-time information. The technology is also compatible with semi-automatic electronic shifters, which racers use to help reduce clutch shifting and lap time.
Suspension
Showa – Big Piston Separate Function Inverted Fork (KP)
Thanks to the springs in both legs, the preload and damping duty is divided into right and left fork tubes. The preload is adjusted to the left, while compression and rebound damping are adapted to the right. For easy access, all adjustments are located at the top of the screw hook.
High damping force is produced by a 37mm piston, which improves braking performance.
The suspension settings have been improved for turning roads and city rides while maintaining performance.
Rear suspension Uni-Trak® (KP)
On the road and the highway, Uni-Trak lever ratios and shock damping settings provide a comfortable ride.
The cast aluminum swing arm’s rigidity and the right combination of flex work together to balance the frame’s rigidity to provide superior handling.
Preload, compression, and rebound damping can all be adjusted to the shove rear shock and the ride height.
Styling ninja
The Ninja ZX-6R has a distinct design that combines aspects of the Ninja ZX-10R with sharp and sharp lines.
The Ninja ZX-6R stands out from the crowd because of the particular cowl in front of it. Its low dimensions not only give the rider a great view of the road ahead, but they also give it a unique look.
A pair of LED headlights complete the look, with high and low beams and position lamps. LEDs also provide more bright traditional lights for more light at night.
The upper lines and overlapping and interconnected sections give the tail a sharp, distinctive shape.
