Street Triple S 2020 Triumph Roadster – Features
Category-Defining from the very Beginning
When the Street Triple first appeared on the scene in 2007, it had a significant impression on the motorcycle industry because of its unique styling and exhilarating triple engine. More than any other middleweight sports car, it has repeatedly re-invented the category by combining aggressive appearance with agile handling, effective power delivery and a distinct triple soundscape.
A2 license riders who want to get into the Street Triple line-up may now experience the new Street Triple S, which has an aggressive and stunning unique style, a high-spec equipment package, superb low- and mid-range performance, and exciting handling capabilities. In addition, it sports a high-spec lightweight chassis and Triumph’s trademark outstanding quality and craftsmanship. It’s only after riders have passed their full license test and unleashed the full power of this motorbike that they can appreciate what a fantastic all-arounder it is.
Fully A2 license Compliant with its characterful 660cc triple engine
Refined performance and rapid response are delivered by the new Street Triple S’s 35kW (47.6PS) peak power output and 60Nm peak torque in A2-license-compliant packaging, which is accessible to all riders. Triumph dealers may remove restrictions after the rider has obtained their full license, regaining 70kW (95.2PS) at 11,250rpm and 66Nm of peak torque at 9,250rpm. The exhaust has been modified for Euro 5 full homologation. It now offers an even more prosperous, more resounding Triumph triple scream with an exhilarating induction sound while accelerating even further.
Much more Aggressive Attitude, Poise and Style
The legendary style of the Street Triple S has undergone a significant overhaul, with a more aggressive new appearance that aligns it more closely with the top-spec Street Triple S 2020 Triumph Roadster. All-new LED headlights provide an angular and purposeful design that is instantly recognizable.
The Street Triple S’s position lights have also been updated, making them brighter and whiter. The design of the car’s exterior has also been entirely reworked, making it more angular, sportier, and sleeker. Aside from the new headlamps, the new fly screen and air intake, as well as the new side panels and the rear unit, are all new and unique. In addition, new modern mirrors with a more excellent range of adjustments provide an improved finish and details. The new Street Triple S comes in Crystal White with Diablo Red and Black decals, black tank emblems, and a textured black rear sub-frame for an even more cutting-edge appearance.
High Specification of Equipment
The new Street Triple S 2020 Triumph Roadster is an elegant, thrilling, and approachable motorcycle with the class’s lightest wheels, providing accurate, engaging handling for all riders. With its famous gullwing swing arm, the RSU is naturally resistant to compression during severe acceleration because of its torsional rigidity and lateral flexibility, which maximizes stability at higher speeds. The Street Triple’s precise chassis behavior and tight corner exits are made possible by combining these two features.
With 41mm Showa separate function forks allowing 110mm travel, and preload-adjustable piggyback reservoir Showa mono-shock rear suspension with 124mm rear wheel travel, the new Street Triple S has a high-spec break. The Street Triple S has two front discs with Nissin sliding calipers and a single fixed rear disc with a premium Brembo caliper for excellent stopping power with the newest generation of ABS. The tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, which are designed for road usage in all weather conditions. New Street Triple S also has ride-by-wire traction control and two riding modes, all of which are designed to enhance the experience for the driver (Road and Rain).
These may be selected from the LCD instruments and alter the settings for throttle response and traction control based on the current driving circumstances. For more protection, comfort, and elegance, there are 60+ authentic Street Triple accessories available. This new Street Triple from Triumph has over 60 genuine extras to choose from, such as modern scrolling LED indicators, a replacement fly screen and mirrors and oil reservoirs that have been reworked. There are also new water-resistant baggage options, including a tank bag and tail pack that can be mounted quickly and easily.
Also included are a quick shifter, Arrow silencer, and adjustable handlebars, making the Street Triple S capable of even the most concentrated road riding. Multi-setting heated grips, tail tidy, color-coordinated belly pan and seat cowl, and a transparent rear lamp assembly are all included in this model’s styling package.
