A contemporary remake of the 1969 classic. Premium features include Reflex Defensive Rider Systems, Apple Car Play, and a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. With tri-tone paint and period-accurate badging, this distinctive silhouette recreates that era in time.
Harley-Davidson announced today the launch of its new Icons Collection. This annual program will offer minimal edition motorcycle models designed to uplift traditional forms and celebrate Americana, either by reconsidering classic Harley-Davidson design themes or by exploring new ideas that represent the future of motorcycle style.
The Icons Collection will release one or two models every year, with each model having a single manufacturing run. That model’s production will never be continued or replicated. Each Icons Collection motorbike will be serialized, and the buyer will get an authenticity certificate.
“We pledged with The Hardwire to create a series of bikes that correspond with our plan to boost desirability and advance the heritage of Harley-Davidson,” stated Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president, and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “With that in mind, I am extremely pleased to unveil our new limited edition Icons Collection, a collection of outstanding adaptations of production bikes that pay homage to our illustrious history and promising future.”
The Harley-Davidson® Icons Collection will debut with the release of the Electra Glide® RevivalTM model, a retro-classic motorcycle for the nostalgist who longs to ride a bike with unique and timeless elegance. The global manufacturing of the Electra Glide Revival model will be restricted to 1,500 serialized models, which will be available at authorized Harley-Davidson dealers in late April for $29,199.
Harley-Davidson 2021 Electra Glide Revival Touring Bike – Features
Milwaukee Eight® 114
The Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin engine powering the Electra Glide Revival model gives exhilarating performance and a vintage Harley-Davidson look-sound-feel. The displacement is 114 cu in (1,868 ccs), while the engine can quickly deliver the peak torque of 118 ft. lb. @ 3250 RPM. Four-valve cylinder heads (two exhaust and two intake valves per head, for eight valves); more excellent airflow through the engine improves power production. Dual spark plugs provide more thorough combustion of the air/fuel charge, resulting in increased power and efficiency. At highway speeds, the 6-speed Cruise Drive® gearbox decreases engine RPM to improve fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
The Electra Glide Revival has a traditional look, yet its design and technologies are cutting-edge. The Electra Glide Revival model is built on a single-spar Harley-Davidson Touring frame with a sturdy backbone construction to accommodate the weight of baggage and contemporary engine power. The whole chassis is built to last a long time. For ideal ride and control, a single knob hydraulically adjusts the pre-load of the emulsion-technology rear shock absorbers.
The linear damping qualities of the 49mm forks with twin bending valve suspension technology provide a smooth ride. To prevent rider head buffeting, the iconic Bat Wing fairing has a sizeable clear windshield and a split stream vent. The electronic cruise control maintains a constant speed for comfort on lengthy drives. At the same time, a halogen headlight and incandescent auxiliary lights give excellent lighting while keeping the Revival model’s historic look.
Boom Box GTS Entertainment System
A Boom!S Box GTS entertainment system with a color touch screen drives two fairing-mount speakers. It includes sophisticated navigation, hand and voice controls (when linked with a suitable headset), as well as Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlay® software compatibility.
RDRS Safety Enhancements
The Harley-Davidson RDRS Safety Enhancements, a collection of advanced technology designed to match bike performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration, and braking, is also standard and include the following: Cornering Enhanced Anti-Lock Brake System (C-ABS), Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS), Cornering Enhanced Electronic Linked Braking (C-ELB), Drag-torque Slip Control System (DSCS), and Hill Hold Control (HHC).
