State-of-the-art, Category-dominating, Class-leading
As a result of the abundance of exclamation points, the point has been made crystal apparent. 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike from Triumph has been created to provide an ideal motorcycle experience in styling, road-going capabilities, comfort, and real off-road adventure.
It is the first time a motorcycle with authentic scrambling DNA has been created with the most significant level of engineering, aesthetics, and technology; a spectacular ‘any road’ motorcycle.
Thrilling Performance
The latest Triumph Bonneville High Power 1200cc engine powers the new 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike, delivering class-leading torque and a unique “scrambler tune.” The sleek six-speed transmission’s seamless power delivery is made possible by the engine’s distinctive 270° firing interval. 12.5% more power than the Triumph Bonneville T120 and a whopping 38 % more than the 2019 Street Scrambler is provided by the 1200cc engine, which has been developed exclusively for this model. Off-road and on, low and mid-range, the Scrambler 1200’s engine is geared to offer “high torque,” with a maximum torque of 110Nm at a low 3,950 rpm.
The Street Scrambler is 37.5 percent larger than this. Stainless steel headers and all-new brushed stainless steel silencers with a double high-level exhaust system provide the deep, punchy scrambler sound heard on the Scrambler. The Triumph Scrambler 1200 engine, like the rest of the new Bonnevilles, has ride-by-wire and a finely integrated liquid cooling system for improved performance and cleaner, more fuel-efficient riding than previous generations. The first major service interval for Scrambler 1200 variants is 10,000 miles/16,000 kilometers.
2nd generation TFT instruments
The new 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike is equipped with Triumph’s most unique full-color TFT instruments, which have a sleek appearance and two customizable information layout design options. An all-new feature enables riders to personalize their start-up screen message by adding their name.
Up to 6 Riding Modes, including ‘Off-Road Pro’
Riding modes are available for the 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike that allows the rider to customize the throttle response, ABS settings, and traction control settings based on the rider’s preferences.
Additional modes include “Off-Road Pro,” which provides our most sophisticated scrambling and adventure riding for the Scrambler 1200 XE. All ABS and traction control are turned off in the ‘Off-Road Pro’ mode.
Optimized Cornering ABS – supported by an IMU (XE only)
The new and fully Optimized Cornering ABS comes standard on the Scrambler XE only. Whatever the angle of lean, this ensures the best possible braking performance. The three ABS settings on the Scrambler 1200 XC may be chosen manually through the riding mode switchable by the rider.
Optimized Cornering Traction Control – only supported by an IMU (XE only)
Standard on the Scrambler 1200 XE is Optimized Cornering Traction Control, which automatically adjusts the degree of traction control according to the overall riding circumstances. As a result, the bike’s lean angle is always maintained at its optimal degree of traction control. Instead, the Scrambler XC has five ride modes with switchable traction control on the Rider-configurable riding mode.
IMU – Inertial Measurement Unit (XE only)
A sophisticated Inertial Measurement Unit supports the Scrambler 1200 XE’s Optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control (IMU) developed with Continental. Active safety features are activated in response to measurements of roll, pitch, yaw, lean angle, and acceleration rates that are made continuously.
All LED lighting with DRL headlight
An all-new 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike includes complete LED illumination, including a 5-inch headlight, a tail light with a new diffused opacity design, and indicator lights (in applicable markets).
Additionally, the LED Daytime Running Lights (in eligible markets) offer exceptional visibility and a unique light pattern.
Illuminated Backlit Switches
LEDs integrated into the switch cubes of the 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike provide a subtle glow that enhances rider connection and improves control in all lighting situations.
Torque Assist Clutch
They are designed to make riding more straightforward and more comfortable by reducing the effort required by the rider to use the clutch lever.
Keyless ignition
The new 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike comes with Triumph’s keyless ignition technology. When the keyless fob is nearby, the mechanism activates the ignition through the switch cube’s start button. The key’s wireless communication feature may also be disabled at the press of a button for added security.
Heated grips
The Scrambler 1200 XE comes standard with heated grips, while the Scrambler 1200 XC may be outfitted as an option. There are two settings for these, and they’re conveniently located on the left-hand handle for added convenience for the rider.
Cruise control
Both Scrambler variants come included with electronic cruise control. The switch cube on the left has a single-button system installed. For optimal convenience and safety, this function may be accessible while riding.
USB charging
A 5-vault USB power socket is included in the 2020 Scrambler 1200 XE Triumph Modern Classics Bike. The new foam-lined storage compartment beneath the seat incorporates this feature.
World’s first integrated GoPro control system
Triumph is the first motorcycle manufacturer to provide an integrated GoPro camera control system via a Bluetooth accessory module.
The switchgear’s TFT instruments show the connection and control, allowing simple video and picture operations.
Turn-by-turn navigation system
Powered by Google, this is Triumph’s first premium motorcycle manufacturing relationship with an integrated turn-by-turn navigation system. A Bluetooth module links the navigation system to the outside world. To help the rider navigate, the instruments use simple visual icons to show the rider where they’re going. When using this system, riders have access to a navigation system, a route planner, their ultimate destination, and items of interest like lodgings, gas stations, and restaurants.
Triumph app
The new Triumph app, which includes linked navigation, is a free download for iOSTM and AndroidTM phones. Using this app, a rider may manage the navigation, route planner, destination, and places of interest (hotels, gas stations, restaurants, etc.).
Integrated phone and music operation
On both of the new Scrambler 1200s, riders will be able to pick music, adjust volume, take a call, and more, thanks to Bluetooth phone connectivity that is clearly shown on the color TFT instruments. It is made possible with a Bluetooth module for accessory connection.
