Zero’s new ZF75-10 motor and new ZF14.4+ (standard) and 15.6+ (premium) kWh lithium-ion batteries provide the SR/F 140 ft-lbs of torque and 110 horsepower with the easy twist of a throttle. A Cypher Store update unlocks 17.3 kWh of more range and battery capacity.
The SR/F runs Zero’s Cypher III+ operating system, which has Musicians performance enhancements that brain. Musicians and brains go into Bosch’s MSC (Motorcycle Stability Control). For the first time, a motorcycle and engine combination that can handle a wide range of terrain and road conditions has created a new standard for premium performance.
SR/F is the world’s first “smart” motorbike in every word. There are several free features included in Zero’s next-generation software, as well as in the configurable dash. It allows users to get crucial information anytime and from any location. Cypher III+, the breakthrough operating system, enables the app to unlock a virtual marketplace for on-demand updates. Light as a feather. Amazingly powerful. Steel-trellis frame, unique swingarm and Showa suspension make for an agile and intuitive ride. Keep the overall weight down and the bulk in the center of the vehicle, the powerplant is appropriately scattered and the front brakes have a dual-radial design.
These ground-breaking innovations come together in the 2022 SR to create the most flexible motorbike in the world. At your fingertips, you can change anything from the battery capacity, charging time, features, and even on-screen turn-by-turn directions.
The new ZF 14.4+ kWh batteries are standard on all SR/F and SR/S Standard trims, while the 15.6+ kWh Power Pack is available on Premium trims. In addition, these bikes have the most excellent onboard battery capacity Zero has ever had, with over 21 kWh of energy, when paired with the optional Power Tank attachment (coming spring 2022).
Zero 2022 SR/F Electric Bike – Features and Price
ZF75-10 Motor
With 140 ft-lbs of torque and 110 horsepower, the ZF75-10 motor quickly propels the SR/F to a maximum speed of 124 mph. Class-leading performance and efficiency are achieved by combining Zero’s acclaimed internal permanent magnet brushless architecture with a passively cooled compact design.
Rapid Charge System
Using our innovative, scalable Rapid Charge System, the bike may be set up to charge at a regular Level 2 station at a 3 kW, 6 kW, 9 kW, or 12 kW rate. The 3 kW, 6 kW, and 12 kW versions of the SR/F Rapid Charge System can recharge the battery pack to 95 percent capacity in only one hour, allowing for a range increase of 38 miles per hour (mph).
The SR/F must be charged with the included EVSE wire using a regular 110 V wall outlet.
Power Pivot
To provide continuous drive-belt tension and maximum torque distribution to the rear wheel, a novel concentric motor and swingarm pivot design are necessary. To improve rider comfort and agility, a large-bearing swingarm pivot has been custom-designed to accommodate the high-performance engine.
Cypher III
Using Zero’s unique operating system, Cypher III, all of the motorcycle’s many components are linked together. It consistently and flawlessly offers accurate performance for a better riding experience.
Intuitive Next-Generation App and dash interface enable the rider to customize the bike’s performance via various ride modes. With street, sport, eco, rain, and up to 10 programmable custom modes, the SR/F navigates the road in any condition.
Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control
The SR/F is the first electric motorbike to include Bosch’s MSC System, well-known for its dynamic acceleration and better stability on any road surface. To get the finest straight-line ABS and cornering brake control, as well as traction control and drag torque control, the MSC has to be paired with Cypher III.
Chassis
Light as a feather. Amazingly powerful. Steel-trellis frame, unique swingarm, and Showa suspension make for an agile and intuitive ride. To keep the weight down and the bulk in the vehicle’s center, the powerplant is appropriately distributed and the front brakes have a dual-radial design.
SR/F Dash
Personalize your instrument panel with stickers and other decals. The 5″ TFT LCD in full color allows you to choose the bike information you need to view quickly. Fly mode switching, cruise control, heated grip control, and more are all possible thanks to multi-mode navigation. Heated hand grips are available with the Premium model.
The Connected Bike
The SR/F is constantly communicating with the app through cellular networks. You can always get up-to-date information on your ride, including the current state of your bike and its current location. Riders may keep tabs on their bike’s status and status alerts, charging, riding statistics, and system upgrades and updates thanks to this connection.
The dash and Cypher III, along with Zero’s next-generation software, provide a robust ecosystem:
- Selection and generation of ride modes
- Customizable dashboard choices
- scheduled and goal-oriented charging
- Assistance in locating a charging station
Advanced App
Battery state of charge (SoC), charging time, and last-ride stats are all included in the extensive notification system.
Remote query and notification
Location, speed, lean angle, power, torque, SoC, and energy consumed and regenerated are just some ride statistics that can be examined and shared.
