Triumph Shift Assist, an additional riding mode, and a tire pressure monitoring system are all included in the GT model’s list of extra amenities. There is no other motorcycle in its class that offers the combination of a class-defining chassis, responsive triple engine power, and ride-improving equipment and technology like the 2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro Triumph Adventure Bike. If you’re looking for a bike that’s both street-focused and long-distance capable, the Tiger 900 GT Pro is the best option.
2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro Triumph Adventure Bike – Features and Price
Powerful and Responsive 900cc Engine
In addition to a redesigned 1,3,2 firing sequence, the brand new 900cc engine is now exclusively Euro 5 compatible and has more capacity and performance. Refined throttle response, a unique engine roar, and a more responsive ride are some of the benefits of this new engine design. It also improves intake noise under load. While the throttle character and sound and feel are similar to a twin lower down, the mid-and top-end torque of a triple is still there in plenty.
Compared to the previous Tiger 800 models, the new engine offers a staggering 10% greater peak torque at 7,250rpm, with enhanced performance low down and throughout the rev range. Nine percent more in the mid-range, and 95PS peak power at 8,750rpm, are the gains in strength over the rev range.
When these features are combined, the vehicle accelerates more quickly, topping the previous models and the nearest contestants in the 0-60mph, 0-110mph, and 6th gear roll-on times categories. In addition, it offers the new Tiger 900 with a triple soundtrack that is significantly more aggressive, raspy, and engaging.
A smaller quantity of coolant is used to mass-optimize an all-new dual radiator setup. As a result, the rider experiences less heat and has better cooling performance. Improved aerodynamics are further enhanced by the revised radiator design. Because of its form and position, the engine may be placed farther front, resulting in an improved center of gravity. While the sump has been redesigned and the cooling system reworked, this does not affect ground clearance.
There’s also a redesigned airbox with an easier-to-reach air filter, as well as a slip and assist clutch for improved rider comfort.
All-new Benchmark-setting Chassis
The new version 900 GT Pro is 5 kg lighter than the previous model, resulting in the most controlling and nimble Tiger ride. Rear subframe and pillion hangers can be bolted onto the bike’s steel trellis frame, making it the most versatile bike ever for those who want to ride on dirt roads.
The new 900 line has the most acceptable Marzocchi or Showa suspension system changed to give the utmost capabilities for the benchmark-setting new middleweight adventure motorcycles.
A dedicated menu in the TFT instruments allows the rider to fine-tune the rear preload and damping settings for the ultimate in rider convenience and comfort on the GT Pro variant. A total of nine damping control settings and four preload set-ups are available to riders, ranging from Comfort (the softest) to Sport (the firmest).
The improved stopping force of Brembo Stylema brakes is the standard equipment on all new Tiger 900 models. Reducing the volume surrounding pistons and pads minimizes the amount of space occupied by the brake fluid inside these calipers and provides an even quicker reaction to the pedal. The calipers cool more quickly when more airflow around the brake pads.
Using an all-new lightweight modular frame, lighter engine, high-spec suspension, and premium Brembo brakes, this bike achieves a significant increase in capability and agility, making it an excellent choice for any kind of riding.
For long-distance commuting, Tiger 900 model now features giant 20-liter fuel tanks and an adjustable windscreen that can be easily be adjusted with the help of one hand only.
The new models’ ergonomics have also been upgraded, making them more comfortable to ride on the road, in the mountains, or anywhere in between. The handlebars are 10mm closer, and the seat is 10mm narrower, resulting in a more upright riding posture and improved rider control both at rest and when moving. There is a built-in two different position seat height adjustment setting on each model, as well as specific and diverse footrest positions to match the intended riding style. The seat height may be adjusted by 20mm to suit the rider’s preferences.
Aggressive Appearance
The Tiger 900’s new aggressive style, re-designed smaller-scale bodywork, improved finishes, and smoother lines give it a more unique and dominating adventure posture than ever before. Because of the short standover width, the lightweight front end and the dominating fuel tank, this is supported.
In addition to the fuel tank and tank end panel, the new bodywork has a more robust and aggressive adventure design. It includes the seat panel, radiator cowl and radiator duct exit. The Tiger 900 GT Pro sets a new standard for brilliance with its impeccable finish and attention to every little detail.
