Exhaust
The exhaust is critical to delivering power and performance, and it provides a powerful punch that can’t be matched. Using a new 3D stamping technique, HD exhaust pipes are used on the 250 and 300 cc versions. These pipes have a ribbed surface finish. It significantly improves the pipe’s resistance to rocks, as well as its ability to reduce noise. Using an aluminum mounting bracket, it is fitted to a small silencer with a unique internal design for each model. A perforated inner silencer tube and lightweight dampening material work together with the exhaust’s form to give streamlined ergonomics and increased ground clearance, as well as practical and long-lasting noise reduction.
Engine
Regarded and respected, the 300 ccs 2-stroke engine is known for having the most powerful 2-stroke performance in its class. Modern engineering, innovative 2-stroke design, and revolutionary TPI fuel injection technology have combined to create a more refined engine than ever before. All Enduro riders looking for an easy-to-ride Enduro machine with the power and torque to overcome the most challenging hills should choose a 2-stroke.
Airbox
The shape of the air filter box ensures optimal airflow while protecting the air filter from soiling. Cage-mounted Twin Air air filter keeps the system in place simultaneously. This design is so simple that even if your face is covered in muck, you can still put in a new one. Without any means of assistance. Immediately.
Frame
Steel frames with innovative high-tech, lightweight Chromoly technology are now standard on all XC-W models. Hydraulic components made by robot welding are also included. They have their race-proven geometries, but the stiffness has been enhanced by re-designing certain regions, resulting in more significant input for the rider, lively handling, and improved stability.
Reductions in vibration and accurate cornering have been made possible using aluminum engine head stays (the connection between the cylinder head and the frame). On the right side, the muffler is shielded from excessive heat by newly designed lateral frame guards with a structured surface. The engine has been lowered by only 1-degree around the swingarm pivot on the KTM 300 XC-W TPI frame, significantly improving grip at the front wheels. More than 900 grams lighter and 40 millimeters more extended, the new subframe is composed of aluminum profiles that are very light and sturdy.
