2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster – Features and Price
Single-Cylinder Engine
The new 313 cm single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and four valves is still the heart of the new 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster from BMW. Although the cylinder head is rotated 180 degrees with the intake and exhaust ports at the front and back, these design features remain.
As a consequence of this design, which is based on the principles of adequate combustion air ducting, the vehicle’s construction is minimal. 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster’s single-cylinder engine produces 25 kW (34 HP) at 9 500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7 500 RPM, making it suitable for sporty Roadster delight, even with the present EU 5 homologation.
There is an “electric throttle grip” (electrical throttle controller) in the new 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster engine, which provides a more sensitive reaction to the throttle. When the engine is started, the automatic idle speed increase protects the engine from stalling.
Additionally, the self-boosting anti-hopping clutch is a novel feature. It lowers the engine’s drag torque and improves safety when driving, especially while stopping and downshifting simultaneously. It also reduces the amount of force required to operate the clutch lever.
LED headlight and LED flashing turn indicators
Even though the 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster was previously equipped with LED brake lights, it now comes with full-LED headlights for even improved vision at night and LED flashing turn indicators for enhanced visibility in traffic.
There is a noticeable improvement in visibility thanks to the upgraded LED headlights. The left handlebar controls may activate the three light functions: high beam, low beam, and daytime driving light.
Hand Lever Adjustable
The handbrake lever and the clutch lever may now be adjusted in four steps. As a result, it now has ergonomic advantages, especially for persons with tiny hands. Brake lever adjustment stage 3 correlates to the grip width at this point. The brake lever is approximately 6mm closer to the handlebar in the first position.
Softly Reimagined Design
The design of the new 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster also reflects its dynamic and agile nature. The aesthetic resemblance to sportier family members like the BMW S 1000 R is unmistakable in this case. The Dynamic Roadster’s color palette also reflects this. A common theme throughout the BMW G 310 R’s three color schemes is the Titanium Grey Metallic paint job on the alternator, clutch, coolant pump housing covers, footrest plate, and rear grab handle like in 2020 BMW G 310 R.
As an alternative to Cosmic Black, Polar White is a new base color choice that, when combined with blue painted highlights, pays homage to BMW’s historic corporate colors in a new and exciting manner. The new 2021 BMW G 310 R Roadster firmly exposes its sporty side in Limestone Metallic, with an eye-catching red “R” design on the fairing side panels and red frame and wheels.
LED lighting system
LED technology has made it possible for everyone to see clearly. Headlight Pro includes adaptive headlights as an add-on.
M-Endurance chain
Low-friction DLC coating has resulted in increased efficiency and decreased maintenance needs.
M package with M Color
As much as 5,000 grams lighter. Standard equipment has M forged wheels. As a bonus, there’s the classic M color scheme to enjoy.
Powerful roadster performance meets stunning superbike styling with 165 horsepower and torque-optimized performance.
M carbon wheels
Rotation of less than 1% of the mass. The most significant possible degree of flexibility. It’s no problem braking on the most challenging courses globally owing to larger brake discs.
Standard features include a 6.5-inch TFT display and connection. A dual-screen setup. As well as an additional M-package option – similar to the RR. The BMW Connected App may be used for route planning as well.
Keyless Ride Light
At any given moment, I’m ready to go. Forget about digging around in your pockets looking for the key.
Titanium sports silencer
For a more sporty sound and less weight.
