For those looking for a bike that’s built for comfort and competence on the road, go no further than the new 2020 Tiger 900 GT Triumph Adventure Motorcycle. Powered by the Tiger 900 GT’s next-generation chassis, the Tiger 900 GT offers improved road-going comfort and triple engine capabilities. The new Tiger 900 GT is built to carry you everywhere you want to go with a class-defining new chassis, dynamic agility and ride-enhancing technology.
With a revolutionary new arrangement, the all-new, more powerful, and responsive triple engine measures 900cc and complies with Euro 5. In addition to a revised 1,3,2 firing sequence, the new 900cc engine is now wholly Euro 5 compatible and has more capacity and performance. Intake noise under load has been improved, the rider has received significant input from the engine, and the engine’s sound has been enlarged. Consequently, the throttle response, sound, and feel are more closely associated with a twin-engine down low, but the torque, feel, and delivery of a triple engine are preserved in the mid-and high-range.
The new engine’s peak torque is now 87Nm at 7,250 rpm, increasing 10% over the previous Tiger 800 models. It also has enhanced torque at low and mid-range revs. In the mid-range, 9% more power is available, and at 8,750 rpm, the engine reaches a peak output of 95 ps. When all of this is combined, the car accelerates more quickly, topping the previous generation model and the nearest competitors in the 0-60mph, 0-110mph, and 6th gear roll-on times categories. Its new Tiger 900 has a considerably more aggressive, raspy and exciting triple soundtrack due to this new design.
With a lower coolant capacity, an all-new dual radiator setup is mass optimized. It improves cooling and minimizes the rider’s sense of heat. The revised radiator design emphasizes the more striking posture and elegance of the latest versions of adventure bikes. Because of its form and location, the engine may be placed farther front, resulting in an improved center of gravity (40mm forward and 20mm lower). For greater handling and low-speed balance, this increases weight distribution, while extra changes to the sump and its cooling system guarantee that it does not affect ground clearance. There’s also an all-new airbox with a more readily accessible new air filter and a slip and assist clutch for increased rider comfort.
2020 Tiger 900 GT Triumph Adventure Motorcycle – Features and Price
Significantly Lighter, All-New Benchmark-setting Chassis
Now up to 5kg lighter than the preceding generation model, the new version 900 provides the most controlling and nimble Tiger ride. Modular aluminum rear sub-frame and bolt-on pillion hangers make the new steel trellis frame lighter and more adventure-oriented than ever before for off-road riding.
The new 900 line has a premium Mariachi or Showa suspension system tuned to give the most critical capabilities for the benchmark-setting new middleweight adventure bicycles.
The electronically adjustable rear suspension is involved on the GT Pro variant, allowing riders to fine-tune the rear preload and damping settings via a menu on the TFT displays. Comfort (softest) to Sport (firmest) are two of nine degrees of damping control that riders may choose from, as well as four different preload settings.
The improved stopping power of Brembo Stylema® brakes is now standard equipment on all new Tiger 900 models. These brake calipers are small, light, and well-designed, with a smaller volume surrounding the pistons and brake pads to limit the amount of area taken up by brake fluid, resulting in quicker stopping power. The calipers cool more quickly due to better airflow around the brake pads.
Using the new lightweight modular frame, new lighter engine, high-spec suspension, and premium Brembo brakes, this motorcycle achieves a significant increase in agility and capability, making it an excellent choice for every riding situation.
When traveling long distances, the new Tiger 900 series offers better wind protection thanks to a bigger 20-liter fuel tank and an adjustable screen that is easy to adjust with only one hand.
Ergonomics are also changed for the new models, ideal for rider comfort whether touring, off-roading and everything in between. To offer a more upright riding posture, the width of the seat has been condensed and the handlebars have been moved approximately 10mm closer to the rider’s body. Additional features include a unique footrest location for each model and a two-position seat height mechanism that may be readily adjusted. The seat height may be changed by 20mm to suit the rider’s preferences.
A new, more aggressive Tiger style
Redesigned smaller-scale bodywork with a more aggressive style, improved finishes, and sharper contours give the new Tiger an adventure-oriented posture that’s all its own. In addition to the little standover width, the trivial front end, and the leading fuel tank design and size, this is further supported.
Fuel tank, tank end panel, high mudguard, seat panel, radiator cowl, and radiator duct exit are all included in the all-new bodywork. The 2020 Tiger 900 GT Triumph Adventure Motorcycle sets a new standard for quality with its perfect finish and attention to every little detail.
