The new 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle was more than simply a classic roadster when it was unveiled in 2013 by BMW Motorrad. It was a motorbike that merged traditional styling with cutting-edge technology, as well as a high level of artistry and a large variety of personalization possibilities.
With the R nineT, BMW Motorrad Heritage created the R nineT Urban G/S as an enduro, the R nineT Scrambler as a tribute to this distinctive bike genre for those who love a purist, condensed, and non-conformist style, and the R nineT Pure as a roadster reduced to its essentials.
As of the upcoming 2021 model year, BMW Motorrad has improved and expanded the essential and optional features of the R nineT family with a few technological tweaks. The overall review of the 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle with its price and specification is given below.
2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle – Features
Boxer Engine
The boxer engine has been fine-tuned both technically and aesthetically for use in the new 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle, and it now meets the standards of the EU-5 pollution class. Power output has been reduced from 7750RPM – 7250RPM; however, the maximum torque has not changed from the previous 116 Nm (6000RPM – 7250RPM).
The 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle’s redesigned throttle valve components and cylinder head coverings, as well as freshly designed cylinder heads, allow a more seamless transition from the outside to the inner cooling fins.
The new turbulence system in the cylinder heads swirls the mixture to provide even better and cleaner combustion and improved performance. Pulling power levels are noticeably better than the predecessors because of even more concentrated power and torque profile – notably in the zone between 4000 and 6000 rpm.
ABS Pro Including DBC – Dynamic Brake Control
While ABS Pro and DBC (Dynamic Brake Control) are still standard on the new R nineT variants, they are also available on the base model for further safety while stopping. With the redesigned shock absorbers travel-dependent damping (WAD), you can change the spring preload with ease using the handwheel that comes standard. The “Rain” and “Road” modes have been included in the standard package as well.
Circular Instrument
The new 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle include a circular instrument with a redesigned dial with the BMW emblem and “invisible” indication lights when they are not lighted. The new R nineT versions come standard with LED headlamps and white indicator lights. A USB charging port has been added to the new R nineT models’ extensive list of standard features.
Innovative Technology
The new 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle from BMW Motorrad has significantly been improved technically and attractively. Riding Modes Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, and Engine Drag Torque Control is now available as new individual choices for the R nineT Scrambler and R nineT Urban G/S, as well as modes “Dyna” for the R nineT and R nineT Pure and “Dirt” for the R nineT Scrambler (MSR). The Comfort Package that includes Riding Modes Pro, cruise control, and heated handlebar grips is another new feature. The rear silencer design option and the turning light are new additions to the list of optional accessories.
“Option 719,” on the other hand, provides a wide range of possibilities for personalizing the 2021 BMW R nineT Pure Heritage Motorcycle to fit the owner’s preferences. As part of this unique collection, you’ll find a variety of wheels, machined components packages, as well as an Original BMW Motorrad Accessories, range rear conversion with a short tail section behind the rear wheel, and a tracker-style rear section (Tracker rear end).
New standard and optional paint treatments complete the R nineT model line’s improvements. It is where the R nineT Urban G/S 40 Years comes in. To honor the 40th anniversary of the legendary BMW Motorrad GS family, this one-of-a-kind model is only available in a limited edition.
