In terms of performance and agility, the KTM 350 SX-F remains unmatched. In terms of power to weight ratio and torque to weight ratio, it’s the best of both worlds. For those searching for more than one edge, this lightweight and robust racer has the championship pedigree to back it all up.
2021 350 SX-F KTM Dirt Bike – Features
Exhaust
All 4-stroke models’ exhausts play an essential part in power delivery and performance, providing a powerful punch. In this type, the pipe has a tiny chamber surrounding it called the FDH (Flow Design Header), an enhanced resonance system. Since the shock absorber does not need to be detached, this design makes it easier to service the shock. As a result of the silencer’s internal design and aluminum sleeve, end cap, and sleeve, the bike seems thinner while meeting legal noise restrictions.
Engine
This year’s KTM 350 SX-F has a lightweight (58.6 lbs.) engine housed in a compact design. Clutch innovation, a long-lasting gearbox with excellent gearing, and a lightweight DOHC (double overhead camshaft) cylinder head all go towards making this engine one of the most spectacular on the market. As a bonus, it has an upgraded oil pump inter-gear designed to be more reliable. This highly competitive engine can be started with only a touch of a button, thanks to the engine’s electric starter and the newest electronic fuel injection technology.
Airbox
Combined with the intake snorkels, the KTM 350 SX-airbox F’s guarantee maximum flow dynamics and rapid throttle response. Despite the apparent benefits, the design offers optimal protection for the air filter from sand and other contaminants. Using a well-built, firm cage, the massive Twin-Air air filter can be installed correctly. Filter maintenance is simple and does not need tools, a regular feature from KTM. Power Parts airbox covers (in the by-pack) for the SX-F have extra air intake holes for improved engine performance, allowing the airbox to be modified for differing engine characteristics or race conditions.
Frame
Using hydroformed chromium-molybdenum steel tubing and robot welding, the KTM 350 SX-frame F’s is the most excellent quality, much like the rest of the SX lineup. The precise rigidity of the frame provides responsive handling and combines flawlessly with the suspension to produce agility and high-speed stability. 2020 KTM SX frames are powder coated for long-term durability, and frame covers are included as standard equipment. This bike’s subframe is a bonus lightweight aluminum, allowing the rider.
Footpegs
It’s possible to keep your footpeg pivot free of clogging even while digging into deep ruts, thanks to ‘no-dirt’ foot-pedals. Want to ride in a more raised position? The 2019 EXC models’ footpegs, which are 6 millimeters taller than the SX versions, may then be installed.
Seat
The seats on all KTM SX models are designed to complement the range’s dynamic performance-oriented ergonomics. The silicone strips on the seat cover enhance the rider’s comfort and control. Using one long lateral screw, it is secure and straightforward to attach the seat to the bike.
