Several improvements have been made to the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle, including a new 1262 cm3 Ducati Testastretta DVT engine, a completely redesigned chassis, and electronics package, and a new paint job. The 1262 cm3 Ducati Testastretta DVT, Euro 4-compliant, delivers excellent pulling power from the low to mid-rpm range. At only 3,500 rpm, 85 percent of the engine’s maximum torque is accessible, with a 17 percent boost in peak torque over the previous model’s engine at 5,500 rpm. Because of this, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle has more torque than any other motorbike in its class (while riding at 4,000 rpm, which is the most frequent rev rate).
Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle – Features
Classy design
A lot of the Ducati Style Center’s work has gone into making the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle seem as balanced as possible in terms of vehicle proportions while yet maintaining its attractive sports appearance.
It has a muscular but agile front end and a slimline tailpiece for a stance on the footpegs. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle riding posture is ergonomically engineered for better off-road performance. Although the handlebars were lowered by 30 mm to improve on-road comfort and enjoyment, the tank cover had to be redesigned to accommodate the reduced ride height. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle comes standard with a redesigned, lighter aluminum sump guard with support struts attached directly to the more lightweight frame. It helps protect the engine from damage.
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle features 860 mm-high seat, which is 10 mm lower than the 1200s, is another standard feature. It improves ergonomics by lowering the center of gravity. It gives riders of all levels greater confidence on the road, as well as better maneuverability when stopped. a lower (840 mm) seat is also available as an add-on attachment to guarantee that all riders can place their feet firmly on the ground. Also, a more comfortable, higher (880 mm) seat that is more suitable for off-road riding is available. For riders who want to stand farther back on the bike, an optional narrower passenger seat is also open.
TFT dashboard
The color TFT display on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle is simple to read even in bright sunshine. The new HMI (Human Machine Interface) is just as user-friendly, making menu navigation and setting changes a doddle.
A configuration menu accessible from the left switchgear when stationary lets the rider enable or modify different features including customized DTC and DWC and three degrees of ABS Cornering intervention. A separate menu allows for semi-active electronic suspension adjustment as well. Selecting a riding mode may be done whether the bike is stationary or while it is moving. Riders can pick from Sport, Touring, Urban, or Enduro and then choose the proper load arrangement for the rider or passengers.
There are Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) built into the headlamp assembly, which optimizes illumination on curves based on the angle at which the motorcycle is leaning. Hazard lights are also included on Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle models and may be turned on by pressing a specific key. A brand-new feature on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle is the automated switching off of warning lights based on the lean angle. As soon as the turn is complete or the bike has traveled a significant distance, the IMU platform turns off the indicators (variable between 200 and 2000 meters according to motorcycle speed at the time of persistent the indicator button).
Hands-Free System
The Hands-Free technology on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle  improves security standards since it allows the bike to be started without a mechanical key. Walk up to the car with the electronic key in the rider’s pocket and it will recognize and turn on the ignition once the rider is within two meters of it! To begin, just push the key-on button on the control panel to bring up the power and turn the engine. To remove the filler cap and open the seat, the rider needs a mechanical flip key. There’s also a steering lock that’s powered by electricity.
Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262
The DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) engine optimizes high-rev performance to maximize power by independently changing the timing of the intake and exhaust camshafts. Instead, while the engine is running at low to medium rpm, it smooth’s out the performance, improves linearity, and increases torque. Without the rider knowing, the characteristics of the engine change constantly as the rpm fluctuates, always staying within Euro 4 standards and tightly controlling consumption. The Desmodromic engine valve closing technology has given Ducati a household name, and the Testastretta DVT is no exception.
A displacement of 1262 cm3 makes the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle engine the most powerful in its class. Ducati engineers worked hard to ensure maximum torque delivery across the low-to-mid rpm range while developing this new engine, which will be installed on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle as well. 85% of the torque is already accessible at 3,500 rpm, with a 17% increase at 5,500rpm compared to the previous 1198 cm3 model. Thus, at 4,000 rpm, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle has the most excellent torque in its class.
Frame
The dual-sided swing arm weighs half a kg and is new to the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle chassis set-up. The rake stays the same, but the offset has been raised to 111 mm, increasing by 1 mm. To maximize torsional stiffness, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle uses a large-diameter, low-thickness Trellis frame upfront and two side-by-side sub-frames in the back.
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle, equipped with a Sachs steering damper, offers performance levels previously unachievable in the maxi-enduro tourer category.
Suspension
This Enduro bike has a 48 mm Sachs fork with ceramic grey sleeves and forged fork bottoms. The Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution system controls the front and rears semi-active Sachs shock absorbers. The semi-active system exerts constant control to guarantee ideal vehicle balance. It enables automated adjustment of rebound and compression damping and spring pre-load – incorporated into the Riding Modes or customized through the on-board computer.
Wheel travel is reduced by 15 mm compared to the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle, resulting in excellent comfort even when the bike is fully laden while allowing riders to go off-road without fear of being hurt.
Tires and wheels
The Pirelli SCORPIONTM Trail II tires on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle measure 120/70 R19 on the front section and 170/60 R17 on the back section. Off-road racing capability meets excellent road performance in the SCORPIONTM Trail II. High mileage, consistent performance throughout its lifecycle, and first-class wet performance are just some of the features this motorcycle was built with for the most discerning riders in mind.
The SCORPIONTM Trail II’s unique tread design blends the off-road approach used throughout the SCORPIONTM range with Pirelli’s expertise in creating the ANGELTM GT, Pirelli’s most OK sport touring tire, considered the sector standard. The new SCORPIONTM Trail II tires’ side grooves are engineered for rain-drainage efficiency. In contrast, the pattern and shape of the center grooves improve grip, stability, and wear uniformity while also improving water drainage.
This new tire, when compared to its predecessor, provides better mileage without sacrificing handling or wet weather performance. The SCORPIONTM Trail II’s profiles are based on the ANGELTM GT’s. The design aids in reducing and leveling treadwear by having a shorter, broader contact patch, resulting in more mileage. As a result of these new profiles, the overall product handling has improved. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle may be equipped with off-road-oriented Pirelli SCORPIONTM Rally tires, which are available as an add-on.
There are 40 cross-mounted spokes and gravity cast hubs on the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro 2019 Motorcycle tubeless spoked wheels. The wheels have been improved and are now approximately 2 kg lighter than the previous generation. The front is 3.00 x 19′′ and the back measures 4.50 x 17′′.
