Sporty Style
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike combines an unmistakable elegant Multistrada silhouette with impressive features and technologies used in racing and typical of Borgo Panigale’s sports motorcycle. Its name, RS, recalls another bike in Ducati history, the famous Ducati Monster S4 RS, developed under the same inspiring principles.

An attractive contrasting Iceberg White livery, enriched by color referenced from the Desmosedici MotoGP, improves the different carbon fiber components, such as the front mudguard, heat shields, hand guards, and front beak.
The slender, lightweight techno-polymer tail integrates the passenger handles and defines an amazing sporty side view. The new titanium subframe is an exotic component that highlights its sportiness and allows a weight saving of 5.5 lb compared to the standard one. The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike is manufactured in a numbered series, and the number is written on a black anodized aluminum plate, embellished with the beautiful Italian flag, and applied to the triple clamp.
Super Engine
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike is the only one with a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine in the family. To combine the Multistrada characteristics with the personality and sporty features of Panigale and Streetfighter, configuring the V4 engine to provide a fluid power delivery curve at low rpm and the same, due to the ultimate benefits of the desmodromic valve system, is exciting near the limiter. The motorcycle has a distinct personality, expressed in the exhaust tone, deep at low levels and exhilarating, like all Ducati sports motorcycles during acceleration at high rpm.

These objectives were achieved using the more breathable and sportier air filter from the Panigale V4 R and an exhaust system complemented with an Akrapovic silencer specially developed for the Multistrada V4 RS.
In this setting, the Desmosedici Stradale engine develops a peak power of 180 hp, revving out at 13,500 rpm. The valve was chosen to ensure sporting performance while enhancing usability, which has distinguished the Multistrada V4 since its first version. The final ratio has been shortened to provide the best road Desmosedici performance, characterized by higher acceleration while maintaining the gear ratios unchanged.
Finally, as on the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 and Streetfighter V4 SP2, the new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike features an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch made from billet aluminum, including specific settings of springs and slipper ramps. The performance components that smooth out riding during braking and gear-shifting phases also complement the distinctive exhaust note, including metallic timber synonymous with a dry-clutch Ducati. Among the dynamic advantages of the dry clutch, performance can be enhanced with the help of Ducati Corse Performance Powered by famous Shell Advance oil, which is the result of this collaboration between Ducati Corse and Shell in Super motorcycle and MotoGP.
To improve the engine’s thermal comfort, the new Desmosedici Stradale has been carefully designed to deactivate the new rear cylinder bank when the motorcycle is stationary in neutral gear. On the coldest days, the new ducts that direct fresh air to the rider’s legs can further be closed to ensure maximum comfort.
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike’s maintenance interval for checking valve clearance is every 18,000 miles.
Electronics
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike is equipped with the highly advanced and sophisticated electronic package of the Multistrada V4S, which includes radar technology on both the rear and front. It enables Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) functionality and new Blind Spot Detection (BSD).
The electronic systems of the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS, built around the new Bosch inertial platform, are made up of Four Power Modes (High, Full, Medium, Low), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up and down. All these systems have been carefully calibrated for the characteristics and intended use of the bike and integrated into four Riding Modes: Sport, Race, Touring, and Urban.
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike comes with a brand new EBC (Engine Brake Control), adjustable on three levels. The rider can customize the engine braking depending on the riding style and context.
The main screen, which functions similarly to the Infomode Track, PanigaleV4, and Streetfighter V4, highlights the more incredible sportiness of the electronic package of the brand-new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike. The drop-down menu displays the selected riding mode’s ABS, DTC, and DWC levels. Additionally, the intervention of DTC (Ducati Traction Control) and DWC (Ducati Wheelie Control) is highlighted by a flashing of the corresponding drop-down features and the enlightening of the upper right corner of the dashboard.
An all-new TFT dashboard with a 6.5-inch screen, characterized on the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike by dedicated graphics, enables the rider to view the map navigator function through “Ducati Connect,” which allows the rider to mirror his mobile device. To further support this functionality, the smartphone compartment has forced air ventilation to cool the smartphone during vigorous use of the navigation functions and during charging.
Chassis & Ergonomics
The brand-new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike’s chassis is centered around a 17-inch front wheel, ensuring excellent riding precision and responsiveness. The monocoque aluminum frame differs from the Ducati Multistrada V4 S and Rally in achieving a specific steering head angle, delivering the trail and wheelbase that complement the motorcycle’s sporty focus, similar to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
The brand-new Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, 6lb lighter than those used in Multistrada V4 S, enhance the dynamic handling behavior. Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires give excellent grip during acceleration and peak cornering.
Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension offers the best performance in sporting use with “event-based” strategies, as used in the Ducati Panigale V4 S and Ducati Streetfighter V4 S, which self-adjusts according to the rider’s riding style. The system has been impressively calibrated to obtain an ideal balance between comfort during relaxed riding and support during sport riding.
In particular, the calibration of the dynamic suspension system has been modified to enhance comfort during relaxed riding and, at the same time, offer superb performance when on more sporty riding terrain. Additionally, to improve riding dynamics when full load, hydraulic braking performance is further enhanced when the rider chooses higher damping levels in the different Riding Modes in the various Load Modes with luggage and passengers.
The braking system has been taken from the Ducati Panigale V4. At the front, 330mm of diameter discs and new Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers are complemented by the braking pad material of the Ducati Panigale V4. The rear section has a 265 mm diameter disc with a Brembo floating caliper and a master cylinder with a smaller piston to enhance power and modulation. The new braking safety system is managed by Bosch-Brembo 10.3ME Cornering ABS technology.
In addition to the brand-new carbon fiber and titanium elements, a compact battery is mounted to reduce weight by 6.6 lb compared to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
The new 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Adventure Bike features sportier ergonomics than the Ducati Multistrada V4, including a footrest position that is higher and further back to enhance the greater lean angle. The handlebar is directly attached to the triple clamp, which is lower, narrower, and has less accentuated curvature. The new and softer grips have a sportier design.
The ergonomic combination improves the feeling of sporty riding while maintaining reasonable comfort, which has never been compromised in Ducati bikes.
