2023 Yamaha TT-R125LE Dirt Motorcycle – Features and Specs
Engine
The 124cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke engine’s broad and powerful torque is optimized for off-road operation on a wide range of terrain. The throttle response is quick and reliable thanks to the 20mm Mikuni® carburetor. The five-speed automatic transmission’s powerful clutch and many gear ratios make it a highly adaptable and efficient powertrain. The digital CDI ignition system is very reliable and needs no maintenance. Using an automatic cam chain tensioner reduces the amount of servicing your engine will need significantly. The lightweight USFS-approved exhaust system has a quiet spark arrestor.
Chassis/ Suspension
The lengthy wheelbase of the rigid frame allows for the carriage of larger riders while allowing for excellent off-road responsiveness and agility. Trail-Ready Comfortable and reliable handling on uneven terrain is provided by an adjustable preload on the 31mm telescopic front fork’s 7.1 inches of travel. Flexible compression and rebound damping on the single rear shock contributes to the vehicle’s controllable and predictable handling. The 125LE’s large front 19-inch and rear 16-inch wheels provide excellent handling and off-road capability with precise and reliable steering. Reduced unsprung weight and improved suspension performance are achieved with the TT-R125LE’s aluminum box-section swing arm and snail-type chain adjustments. Both the front rotor brakes and the rear drum brakes are robust and reliable. Sturdy, Ribbed Tires Knobby tires provide excellent grip and long lifespans.
Additional Features
The long YZ-style seat is low and supportive, with a gripper-style design that enhances rider’s sensation through the seat of their trousers. The sleek, narrow fuel tank gives the bike the fantastic appearance and feel of a giant motorcycle. At the same time, the Team Yamaha-inspired colors and graphics, including the front and side number plates, are reminiscent of Yamaha’s YZ motocross family. Sturdy foothold footing is never an issue, no matter how wet or muddy the ground is, thanks to the large, collapsible foot pegs with cleats. The brand-new and highly robust fork boots protect the fork seal and stanchion tube from damage.
