2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster – Features and Specs
Triumph’s Definitive Street Fighter: The Street Triple R
Triumph’s definitive street fighter, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster, is also available in an all-new stealthy Matt Carbon Black scheme for 2023. It is complemented with a stylish and refined Metallic Grey graphics design. The Matt Carbon Black paint is featured on the tank, front mudguard, fly screen, side panels, rear bodywork, seat cowl, and radiator guard.
The 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster is now even more accessible and affordable. It combines an all-new aggressive attitude and style with a more responsive 765cc triple engine and high-specification equipment. Its impressive performance and exceptional low-down and mid-range torque ensure all the dynamic, agile riding fun the Street Triple family is known for.
Category-Defining from the Very Beginning
Since its introduction in 2007, the 765cc Street Triple lineup has redefined the middleweight sports category. It has become the first choice for riders seeking a combination of aggressive looks, light, intuitive handling, thrilling 765cc performance, and a unique triple-engine soundtrack. The 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster is light, fast, fun, agile, and stylish, significantly impacting the motorcycle world with its distinctive character and exhilarating engine.
Much More Aggressive Attitude, Poise, and Style
With the aggressive new attitude and style of the top-specification RS model, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster features all-new bodywork, including a fly screen, side panels, air intake, and rear unit. These are more angular and sporty, giving the motorcycle a cleaner, more contemporary appearance and a new look.
The new fly screen and air intake have been made more pronounced, echoing the shape of the new twin LED headlights. These headlights have a striking new style, with prominent position lights that enhance visibility and create a more distinctive front end.
The compact, contemporary new silencer and restyled mirrors, which now offer increased adjustability, further enhance the aggressive new look of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster. Two new paint and graphics schemes are available: Sapphire Black and Matt Silver Ice. Both feature Diablo Red and Aluminium Silver decals, hand-painted red wheel pinstripes, and the signature red rear subframe of the Street Triple R.
More Responsive High-Performance 765cc Engine
The updated 765cc engine of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster retains its class-defining performance while becoming even more responsive, thanks to a 7% reduction in rotational inertia. This improvement delivers exceptional low-down and mid-range torque for a thrilling ride. The Street Triple R now produces an impressive 118PS at 12,000rpm and peak torque of 77Nm at 9,400rpm.
Refinements to the airbox and exhaust system help meet Euro 5 regulations and produce a crisper, purer sound and an even more distinctive tone. The deep, rich Triumph triple roar now has a smoother balance between intake and silencer sounds.
Like the top-spec RS model, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster features a smooth gearbox with short first and second-gear ratios, delivering exceptional acceleration and smooth gear shifts. It also includes a slip-and-assist clutch, which reduces clutch lever effort and improves rider comfort and control.
High Specification of Equipment
Known for its precise, agile, and neutral handling, the new 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster features optimized brakes for expert stopping power. These include high-specification Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc front calipers with an optimized brake pad compound for better bite and feel. The rear brake system features a Brembo single-piston sliding caliper.
The high-spec suspension has Showa 41mm upside-down separate-function big piston forks and an all-new Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock RSU. Both are highly adjustable for preload, compression damping, and rebound damping.
The tires are Pirelli’s road-focused, all-weather Diablo Rosso III tires, which offer consistent performance over time. Their profile and structure contribute to the Street Triple R’s sportier feel, providing exceptional grip and corner stability.
The gullwing rear swingarm provides torsional stiffness and lateral flexibility for maximum high-speed stability. Its optimized pivot position offers natural resistance to compression of the RSU during hard acceleration, ensuring tight corner exits and precise chassis behavior.
Regarding technology, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster now features the standard Triumph Shift Assist up-and-down quick-shifter. This enhancement, added based on customer feedback, provides genuine road and track capability by enabling smooth, clutch-free gear changes while maintaining throttle position.
Three riding modes—Road, Rain, and Sport—adjust throttle response and traction control settings. These modes are easily selectable via the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster’s LCD instruments. Rain mode limits peak power to 100PS for a better feel and a smoother ride. The bike also has ride-by-wire, ABS, and traction control for added convenience and safety.
Even More Accessible and Affordable
Reflecting customer feedback, the new 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster has been tailored to be more accessible and affordable, with an equipment specification suitable for a broader range of riders.
A Low Ride Height (LRH) version of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster is also available. This version has a seat height 45mm lower than the standard, at just 780mm. A dedicated suspension setup and revised seat construction make this possible, improving accessibility for more riders.
60+ Genuine Street Triple Accessories for Added Protection, Comfort, and Style
To personalize the new 2023 Triumph Street Triple Roadster, Triumph offers over 60 genuine accessories. These include contemporary scrolling LED indicators, a new fly screen visor, and new machined mirrors and reservoirs.
