2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster – Features and Specs

Significantly updated class-defining 765cc engine

The 2023 Street Triple engine is more performance-focused and character-driven than ever, thanks to lessons learned straight from the Moto2 competition engine program. The compression ratio has increased by 4.7%, from 12.65:1 to 13.25:1. New, optimized combustion chambers are paired with new pistons, con-rods, and gudgeon pins to raise the cylinder pressure limit and, eventually, provide greater power. With updated transmission ratios for enhanced performance and responsiveness, redesigned camshafts and valves provide more valve lift for better intake, combustion, and exhaust efficiency.

More power, even more accessible torque

For 2023, the Street Triple’s exceptional performance and high-end power have been enhanced. The 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition now generate a class-leading 130PS at 12,000rpm, while the R peaks with 120PS at 11,500rpm. All three models share the same proper torque low in the rev range and throughout the mid-range, with a noticeable rise starting at 7,500rpm. At 9,500 rpm, the maximum torque of 80 Nm is achieved.

New poised and dynamic ergonomics

Thanks to the new 12mm more oversized handlebars, the 2023 Street Triple R and 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster also benefit from the latest generation’s more commanding and concentrated riding stance. With clip-on handlebars that are 80 mm lower and 50 mm farther forward than the R and 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster, along with its special high-specification Öhlins forks, the race-inspired Moto2 Edition goes one step further. This results in even more race bike poise and front-end feel for the most dynamic Street Triple ride ever.

The Triumph Street RS and the Moto2 Edition have updated geometry with a sharper rake and a higher rear end for quicker, more agile turns. These upgrades don’t diminish the Street Triple’s signature confidence-boosting qualities, making it even more confident and grounded than before.

2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster

With the Street Triple R, 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster, and Moto2T Edition having accessible seat heights of 826mm, 836mm, and 839mm, respectively, a new accessory low seat option with 3D net technology for improved comfort may be installed to lower the height by an additional 28mm on all models. Triumph dealers can also use a specific rear suspension linkage adaption to lower the seat by a further 10mm if necessary for the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and Moto2 Edition. Combined with the accessory low seat, this adaption offers a very accessible height of 798mm for the RS and 801mm for the Moto2TM Edition.

New highest specification Brembo brakes

The Street Triple R has top-notch brake parts, including a Brembo single-piston sliding caliper at the back and superb Brembo M4.32 4-piston radial monobloc calipers up front. High-end Brembo Stylema 4-piston radial monobloc front calipers with dual 310mm floating discs are standard on the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and Moto2T Edition versions, providing racetrack-capable braking performance. A Brembo single-piston sliding caliper keeps everything in check at the back, and a matching Brembo MCS span and ratio adjustable lever adds even more control and delicacy.

Linked brakes offer the ideal front-to-rear braking ratio for increased stability and shorter stopping distances.

Specification of fully adjustable suspension

Superior suspension parts from Showa and Öhlins have been meticulously chosen to fit each model, completing the Street Triple’s revolutionary chassis design. All of them have complete preload, compression, and rebound adjustments.

2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster

The Street Triple R has a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock RSU and Showa 41mm upside down, which are separate functions of large piston forks. An Öhlins piggyback reservoir rear shock and top-spec Showa 41mm upside down big piston forks are included with the higher-spec 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster.

With its Öhlins piggyback reservoir rear shock and 43mm upside down Öhlins front forks for precision handling, the Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition demonstrates its track-ready capabilities. All versions have 115mm of front wheel travel; the RS and Moto2 Edition have 131.2mm, and the Street Triple R has 133.5mm of rear wheel travel.

Track-ready tires

The 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and the Moto2 Edition are equipped with standard high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires. These provide exceptional high-speed stability and racetrack-level grip in a road-legal tire.

The Street Triple R is equipped with highly recognized and adaptable Continental ContiRoad tires, which provide exceptional traction on dry and wet roads. They are, therefore, the best option for rapid road riding and all-season commuting.

Lightweight chassis and gullwing swingarm

The gullwing swingarm of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster was designed to have exceptional lateral flexibility and torsional rigidity. The pivot location naturally resists compressing the rear shock absorber during severe acceleration, and the design maximizes stability at higher speeds for increased rider confidence. This results in accurate, predictable chassis behavior and tight corner exit.

The Street’s performance is class-defining because of its lightweight chassis and amazing power-to-weight ratio. It is an accessible option for all riders due to its agile and thrilling handling and Triumph’s renowned confidence-inspiring style.

New Optimised Cornering ABS

All three Street Triple models for 2023 come equipped with the newest generation of optimized cornering ABS, guaranteeing the best braking performance at any lean angle. The system has a new ABS modulator with an integrated IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for more sophisticated ABS control. Each riding mode has customized settings that change the amount of ABS involvement, and riders who choose less ABS intervention may also enjoy a track-focused song.

5″ full-colour TFT instruments

No matter the rider’s height, the new 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and Moto2 Edition have 5″ full-color TFT instruments with angle adjustment for the ideal perspective. The five-way joystick and ergonomically designed switch cubes provide simple system navigation. Because the My Triumph connectivity system is pre-enabled, Street Triple owners may use the free My Triumph app and accessory-fit Bluetooth module to access turn-by-turn navigation, phone control, and music playback.

For track day use, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and Moto2 Edition come with a lap timer, and the Moto2 Edition has a unique start-up sequence that shows the official Moto2 logo. A TFT display providing important information is part of the Street Triple R’s unique, easily readable, multi-functional instrument setup.

Front-wheel lift control

The purpose of the front-wheel lift control is to improve control while remaining imperceptible to the rider. To guarantee smoother control and quicker advancement, sophisticated new algorithms continually monitor data from the IMU.

Distinctive all-LED lighting

All three variants have all-LED lighting. When market regulations allow, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster and Moto2 Edition integrate a unique-looking DRL (daytime running light) into the headlights. Position lights provide a similarly unique lighting profile for the Street Triple R. Self-cancelling indications are installed as standard.

All-new bodywork

The Street Triple’s crisper and more concentrated look, entirely revamped for 2022, is the product of meticulous attention to detail. A redesigned headlamp finisher that integrates the air intake complements the new 15-liter fuel tank’s integrated side panels, which have an angular form that blends well with the sharper radiator cowls. In addition, the RS has a new color-coded belly pan that may be purchased as an add-on for the R.

The dynamic, upswept style of the new Street Triple’s rear end gives it a concentrated, nose-down attitude, making it equally impressive. With its color-coded seat cowl and detachable pillion seat, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster makes it simple to move between various configurations.

The redesigned silencer form enhances the Street Triple’s assertive posture, which also highlights the thrilling Triumph triple soundscape.

The Moto2 Edition, the ultimate race-inspired Street Triple, has lightweight carbon fiber bodywork, including the belly pan, side panels, headlamp finisher, and front mudguard. Each of these limited-edition motorcycles has a beautifully machined top yoke with its number carved, adding even more uniqueness and appeal. This is the most unique and collectible Street Triple, with only 765 of each color scheme produced.

New race-derived Street Triple color schemes

There are two modern color options for the Street Triple R: Crystal White with Storm Grey and Lithium Flame graphics or Silver Ice with Storm Grey and Yellow graphics.

Three striking and unique paint jobs are available for the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS Roadster: Carnival Red with Carbon Black and Aluminum Silver graphics, Silver Ice with Baja Orange and Storm Grey graphics, or Cosmic Yellow with Carbon Black and Aluminum Silver graphics.

Lastly, the Moto2 Edition has two striking race-inspired liveries: Crystal White with a Triumph Racing Yellow rear subframe or Triumph Racing Yellow with an aluminum silver rear subframe. These limited-edition motorcycles, which include official Moto2 branding on the silencer, wheel, tail unit, and tank, provide a whole new Street Triple riding experience and a distinctive, race-inspired look.
